    Fantastic idea!! This makes want to crochet one of these, but...for mine, I will use LION BRAND YARNS Homespun (5 - Bulky) in the color, Gothic, & an 8.00mm size L-11 hook. I think it would look sort of cool. 😉

    Thank you for the tutorial! My daughter and I both made this project (not at the same time). We both love the finished piece, however, mine came out much shorter - barely to my waist (and I'm petite). My daughter's came out longer and wider and she's able to use a button on the side - which looks really cool too. We can stand side-by-side and besides the collar it barely looks like the same piece. Interesting..... I don't know why they turned out this way. Could my stitches being tighter make that much of a difference? Either way, I love it, and thanks again for the tutorial.

    Hello again, thank you so much for your prompt response I really do appreciate it. While I understand the multiple of 3 I'm not really sure how many more chains to make for a larger size XL if I chose to make 42 changes will I still be doing 10 stitches on each side with the increase in the center or do I have to do more than the 10 stitches on each side. I've purchased the yarn and ready to work but feel a little leery about getting started. Please Help :-)

    • @matpa8133
      @matpa8133 7 років тому +1

      the number has to be divisible by 3. I did 45 (45/3=15) so you can divide it into 3 sections for your increases. I am however, running into the same problem with it being ruffled and the shape isn't the same as hers. I'm going to finish all the rows and see how it turns out, if its not right i'll take it apart and start over with the 20 stiches that she suggests

    • @newtstracks
      @newtstracks 7 років тому

      Matt Posella, I am also working it on a chain of 45 and it is ruffling. I think it means we have too many stitches but I haven’t figured out where to take them out.
