Utah's Hwy 12 SCENIC BYWAY "All American Road" Bryce Canyon to Single Tree CG - 2024 Summer Ep7 4K

BIG Motorcoach RIDE ALONG in our 2004 M380 Bluebird Wanderlodge! Part 1 of 2 covering the first half of our Highway 12 trip over this amazing stretch of asphalt. It truly earned the title "All American Road". The hairpin turns, desolate landscapes and steep grades that descend as steep as 14° would test any car traveling along this iconic highway. Some would say that taking a 40K+ pound motorcoach with a Jeep-in-tow over it is risky. In Part 1 of this two part run, we leave Bryce Canyon National Park, head NE through Escalante and by the end the travel day arrive at our Single Tree NF CG. Unfortunately Silver our Jeep, had a mechanical at Bryce Canyon that put her out of commission for off-road ventures. So doing off-road side excursions out of Single Tree campground and along the way, was not on the menu. However, Silver obediently rode behind the coach and we still enjoyed the sights presented by this iconic strip of road. In Part 2 (and following a break for the Rocky Mountain High Wanderlodge Rally videos) we will continue our journey across Utah toward Grand Junction, and the Colorado high-country...

That's a pretty drive over scenic Highway 12. We've done it a couple of times in our coach but it's always been from the Torrey side up and over to Bryce NP, never from Bryce down towards Torrey.
You should have stopped at the Burr Trail Grill (BTR), is the food is excellent. When we stay at Capital Reef NP we always take the Jeep for a drive over there just to grab lunch and then hit the Burr Trail back to Torrey.
Also too bad the Jeep was giving you issues, there's a cool Jeep trail near that campground that you stayed in that takes you up over the mountain and drops you into Capital Reef. It's a very scenic trail.
