If he doesn't play or doesn't play hard the Heat are going to keep suspending him. In every scenario he loses money when everything is about money.its stupid to keep losing money. So he is going to play and try to play well and fake an injury or two
I'd just keep suspended him all year and have him lose his money. Then force him to choose between signing with another team next year for much less than 52 mil and freeing up our cap space or signing the player option and going through another year where u look bad by barely playing, keep getting suspended and not getting all the money anyway, and waste another of your few years u have left... 🤷🏽♂️
A few things if he refuses to play they can keep suspending him and likely void his contract , that’ll be ugly for heat reputation , however flip side is it’ll give heat multiple FA and trade options Also He can’t complain about not adding pieces when he himself said “if I was playing we would have won”
Don't make a bad trade. Tell lazy Jimmy Butler go home. Let him walk in off season. If he op-in. Send him home again. Nobody want over 36 year. Who Haven't played year and have.
This is the epitome of cutting your nose off to spite your face. If the Heat do this then they will sacrifice 1.5 seasons just to get back at the only guy to bring the Heat anywhere since Wade. Riley has gone too far
I don’t know specifics so I could be mistaken, but I don’t believe teams are able to sit players who are healthy and able to play. It was the NBA’s counter to teams load managing players.
@Dasbulldoge No it’s not. The Heat would rather have him expire than take on bad contracts even if it takes an extra year. If they trade for Brad Beal then they take more than 1.5 years (unless you think Brad Beal is going to make them go on a deep playoff run). They want cap space, not long term contracts.
This is what's wrong with the NBA and it's players. The players simply have too much power over the franchise. Suspend him, fine him, make an example. It's not like miami going anywhere. Trade Bam, trade Herro, trade everyone for some picks and just tank. I don't understand the strategy of fighting for 6-8 seeds year in and year out. If Jimmy wants to opt in, put him in the games and make him play his 35 minutes. If he wants to pout and suck on the side lines whatever. If he refuses to dress up, then fine him and recoup some of that salary back. He gave Miami 2 good runs and the franchise is definitely on the winning side of that deal already.
I think Jimmy will be traded Feb 6. The only question is whether the Heat will be willing to take any long-term contracts or if a third team has to get involved.
blah blah blah... the Heat this... the Miami Heat that. Miami was the only team to EVER give him a max contract, and they did it TWICE!. Had the Heat give him the extension in the offseason this never happens. This is about MONEY and nothing else. NOTHING ELSE.
You wait until the offseason and then trade him away for nothing in a three teamer where the third team takes the excess money in exchange for picks and the Heat get a giant (about 40 million dollar) trade exception we can use to trade for a star next year.
Sports logically good commentary good analysis. He’s he Jimmy supposed to met with Mikki Harrison the owner. If you want a abide by their rules and regulations which every team has even for the stars. They’re probably gonna ask him to sit out for the rest of the season. I would I mean, you got a trade-in, but you’re not gonna get what you want. The team doesn’t need him anymore because he’s misplaced his leadership values for the guys for his own self, that’s the diva in him. So he’s already played his last game. In my opinion. Send him home with the paycheck. So he won’t destructively destroy what season is left And destroy any kind of morale that’s in the locker room. These guys that are very talented like Jimmy Butler but when they don’t get what they want, they create more destruction and the morale of the team dies. Nope I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t bring him back. If I trade him good if not, stay at home. And now all of a sudden he’s bringing up the issue about the heat having body in enough players or stars to play alongside him. That’s an excuse. He’s just all angry about the money. It’s always always about the money man. But good luck to him.
The only 2 trades i can see that make sense for miami are to the bulls for Ball and Vucevic. Ball is on the final year of his deal and Vucevic will carry over 20m into the next season. Best move in my opinion is to the Nets for Simmons and either Williams, Thompson or Sharpe. All are on expiring contracts. If miami's goal is to clear cap space then Ben does that. You either make ben a shitty offer next year which is still gonna leave you cap space and massive upside if he can get back to All star levels or he you let him walk and go shopping in the off season. Its better than letting jimmy walk. And if the nets dont wanna pay jimmy that's his problem
Butler hasnt played his last game for miami because he is getting paid 40 something million dollars until his finishes this season…. So unkess he wants to get suspended and lower his value for a trade next season, he has to play
I think jimmys done enough to earn his max. He made the heat millions by taking them to the playoffs multiply times and they’re refusing to pay him? He says aight gimme help I wanna win and pat is out there playing games.
I think you're right that he's probably gonna opt in because nobody is going to give him that kind of money anyways even if he tests free agency. But teams now aren't willing to make an offer for him cause he can just leave this coming summer if he wants or he opts in for 50M..... who tf wants either of those situations.
Podz Moody Wiggins 2027 First Rounder. Nobody loses the trade warriors get a shot to be better and keep Kuminga as insurance. Heat get younger and have Wiggins to pair with herro and two young guys.
To me, the best thing that Miami can do is just trade bad contract for bad contract. See if a switch in spots helps fix the situation. They aren't going to get a bunch of draft picks and young talent for Jimmy Butler. Nobody is going to want to pay that price. Phoenix is probably trying to get Beal to want out. Probably trying to get a couple of guys to want out so they can change the mix. However, maybe Bradley Beal doesn't want out. He has that ability to block any and all trades. Which to me is ridiculous regardless of sport. A partial no trade I can understand. Full no trade, to me is just handicaps what a team can do. Though, I also think the new CBA just went too far in restrictions. Yes, the super team era needed to end. There still needs to be a little more movement able to happen. Maybe a higher salary cap and apron 1 and apron 2 limit to compensate for the restrictions. Like maybe each level should have been 15 million dollars higher. Allowing a little more flexibility financially for teams to make moves.
@shorewall I get that one. I was thinking about it though, it would make a lot of sense to trade Butler to Washington. The Heat take Jordan Poole and his expiring contract and the Wizards get Butler's expiring contract. It would at least make Butler opt out so he becomes a free agent. Give both teams cap space to work with. They can punt on this season and ramp up for next season. Who knows, maybe Poole does a better job in Miami because he has a better system to work with and can be in a better role for himself.
DEN can do MPJ and a pick swap for Butler. With some other contracts involved. I’ve speculated that would be an offer that makes sense but MIA doesn’t seem to want to take back the MPJ money
So basically this emotional lesbian was bitching how he wants to be traded because he lost the love for the game but he will opt-in in his player option with Miami because he is full of bullshit?
How is opting into a contract on more money going to help him get to a destination he wants? Wtf? 😅 If he wants to get to a destination he signs on fk all money, NOBODY wants his contract...and he just wants cash.

A few things if he refuses to play they can keep suspending him and likely void his contract , that’ll be ugly for heat reputation , however flip side is it’ll give heat multiple FA and trade options
Also He can’t complain about not adding pieces when he himself said “if I was playing we would have won”
He can't just use his option and NOT play.
I know ppl are hating on butler but the team isn’t better with him on the bench
Bradley Beal has more years on his contract. Yes, NBA will have problem with sending Jimmy Butler home. It's better the a dude who doesn't play.
@@Dasbulldoge not if you can't get anything good for him. Why bring in mediocre players and still not compete.
Butler has no real instruments to pressure Heat. They'll just suspend him and strip his salary if he'll take his contract option.
blah blah blah... the Heat this... the Miami Heat that. Miami was the only team to EVER give him a max contract, and they did it TWICE!. Had the Heat give him the extension in the offseason this never happens. This is about MONEY and nothing else. NOTHING ELSE.
So Dame is forced to change but jimmy isnt…?
All this because he doesn’t want to earn his extension
I think you're right that he's probably gonna opt in because nobody is going to give him that kind of money anyways even if he tests free agency. But teams now aren't willing to make an offer for him cause he can just leave this coming summer if he wants or he opts in for 50M..... who tf wants either of those situations.
76ers should waive Paul George so they can bring back Jimmy
I feel like Jimmy is fucking over Herro, but whaddu i know
Not just herro, but the fans, the organization, and his other teammates.
Miami needs to trade butler for Bronny James to win a championship, now!
Do you think hunter, zeller and some seconds do it in atlanta? Or bogi, hunter and some other trade packages work?
Podz Moody Wiggins 2027 First Rounder. Nobody loses the trade warriors get a shot to be better and keep Kuminga as insurance. Heat get younger and have Wiggins to pair with herro and two young guys.
Also Nuggets ain't trading MPJ for diwa
I would rather pay Jimmy to sit at home next year on his player option, than trade for Beal and his NTC.
@shorewall I get that one.
Woah if mpj is offered why the hell wouldnt they take that.
DEN can do MPJ and a pick swap for Butler. With some other contracts involved. I’ve speculated that would be an offer that makes sense but MIA doesn’t seem to want to take back the MPJ money
Didn't Jimmy also said that he's not interested in re-signing with Denver if he's traded there?
Your channel is like a bright firework in the world of entertainment and funny stories. Keep on being so funny and inspiring!💬❤️🔹
Bot. What is it with the dumb bots?
Child Support Jimmy
Pat Riley ain't that good tbh. Best he can do right now is get G league players to surround Jimmy. lmaooo
Ho guardato questo video e ho capito che ho bisogno di un nuovo hobby: guardare video divertenti e condividerli con i miei amici🍭
the bots be ready to comment right away 🤣
Why? I just don't get it. Where's the profit?
Man, Shams is grasping for straws with every Jimmy update man.
Woj would have never gone out like this.
There really is nothing else to report on this subject until February 6th. Good luck y'all!
Shams stood by his reporting when everyone said he was lying. You got to admire that
I hope he loses his money the next 2 seasons, and doesn’t play
Joker can fix him…
Your videos are a shining example of how to make quality and interesting content. Thank you for your talent and effort!😇🌄🥊
Players have too much power and to few skills for that kind of money
Can’t they just waive him?
They don’t get their exceptions or any assets if they do that
Send him to Taipei
Hes trying to force a team give him a max and its not happening. Especially after the paul george contract. Pat should suspend him all next year, you dont wanna play while your healthy? Fine stay home, lose a year at the end of your prime, hes just hurting his own stock.
He's hurting everyone, not just himself
Hey JB, P.S. the Celtics don't want you bro. Jaylen is inconsistent af but he is 12 years younger than you and has a ring, enjoy being on the Pelicans 😂.
Today NBA players are so pathetic the only team I can watch is Denver
“I want more help” - Jimmy Butler
“We have enough to compete” - Tyler Herro
Tyler Herro must be talking about competing for the in-season tournament.
What a cry baby. $50 million is not enough. Spoiled punk.
Every team this dude is on he’s always tryna leave with some drama. Looking like a crybaby lol
Jimmy for Zion trade 💭
Everyday I see a video saying this situation getting worse I'm tired of it😂 trade this man already!
next video is going to be " the Jimmy situation got EVEN worse "
it's pronounced sh - ah - ms
BI for Jimmy
The east got better now jimmy wants out lol.
Gonn get this Ben Simmons fines lol
How many times is he guna force his way out of a team? Hes damaged goods n getting older. I saw espn say he could be involved in a trade with my Kings.. 3 team trade where kings give Miami Derozen.. why would we swap debo Trey Lyle’s and kh just for butler. Wild
jimmy gona end up on the bucks for middelton and portis
Hell no why would Milwaukee do that horrible trade
@ middelton is washed and Portis is horrible team plays better without him
Not new news.
As much I value jimmys game his behavior here is bizarre and possibly career ruining hes going about this all wrong wish it worked out in miami and say this from a universal nba fan perspective 💯
Jimmy Butthurt
Heat should just cut they loses and trade him
Better to get something than nothing even if it just a role player and a second round pick
Nah , gotta stand on bidness
A bad contract is death in this new CBA. Better to let him walk than get Beal's contract back.
@ don’t have to get Beal you can get other players with smaller contracts or like Ben Simmons & Bogdanovic (59 million together) from the nets who on they last year of they contract
@@ice8erg do u wanna try to win or do u wanna be petty ? If being petty outweighs winning then yea stand on it
Only bots here bro fell off
If I had a nickel for every time Jimmy Butler’s situation got worse
Jimmer would be in prison if he was a foot shorter. Typical thug behavior
First!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dawg Tucker!
Can we admit that Jimmy has really saved Pat Reilly job and made him look like a better GM than he actually is
Why are people blaming jimmy? The Heat made the situation clear when they didn't extend him. He's just being held hostage at this point.
Being held hostage for 52millon dollars he can opt out at the end of the season
If you have a player option you're not a hostage lmao
Worst take I've heard in a long time
Man gotta problem every team he go to but you think it’s not him
wow. how many burner accounts do you have sas?
