this song went so hard
I love how it seems like everyone agrees this song is amazing and a bop, because I was wondering why the OST isn't available anywhere and I couldn't find this song. Great and dynamic melody progressions, drum beats, and tonal shifts with this song, the orchestral flourish sections are just glorious and it reminds me a lot of the amazing boss music in Octopath Traveler. Thank you so much for posting this ~ the game is awesome and it's such a fitting tribute to JRPGs.
Maybe because the game came out just a few days ago basically 😂 they want people to buy the game before plastering the ost on Spotify
@@zappiestlynx9567 Yeah! I'm surprised I played as much as I have, it feels like it's been much longer.
Hopefully it is released soon. The CD version was one of the reward levels from the Kickstarter and--while I get that crowd funding is no guarantee of rewards--I had hoped we'd hear some news about it by now.

The music in this game gives weird nostalgia vibes like I’ve heard it before but it I know I haven’t haha. Certain tracks remind me of wild arms 2 dungeon tracks
Well the music is by Motoi Sakuraba who's been around since the 90s on MANY games.
@@ThatGuyInTheBack007 yes I’ve played a few of the games he’s done the soundtracks in and I’m usually never disappointed. Had to come see if the ost was out yet haha

Why do i feel there is slight Valkyrie Profile in this theme?
Game where regular appearing enemies are easy and bosses are incredibly difficult
only at first. the more you progress, the game became far easier.. i play on hard and the proving ground 2nd boss is the big wall of difficulty for me. After that, the game became easier.
First time hearing this battle theme in game and I was surprised! Remind me of Suikoden 2 a bit, although not the same level but I like it!
Honestly, although I agree in the case of the general world-atmosphere and town music, I think this game has Suikoden 2 beat at least in the battle themes. (Not counting Neclord and Luca Blight, of course.) Star Ocean 2's battle theme absolutely slapped, so I guess it should come of no surprise.
