  • If you’re like me, you have buckets full of tiny scrap fabric sitting around waiting to be used. They can be used to stuff pin cushions and other fabric items, but we can also use them in our slow stitching projects.
I have used some of my smallest fabric scraps in this project along with some of my favourite embroidery stitches.

    Blanket Stitch 5:52
    Chain Stitch 8:15

Wow I don’t keep scraps that small but definitely have scraps baskets. What I need is beads and buttons and baubles. There is a consignment store that has a great big jar that I have my eye on! Thanks for sharing every detail, I’m learning a lot!

Thanks for watching! You can use the smallest scraps and threads to stuff pincushions or other items. I hope you are able to grow your collection of embellishments, it sounds like that jar has been calling your name!

I love how you left that tiny green fabric tail alone!! I was wanting it to be cut!! ha ha, But it taught me something about leaving the fabrics as organic and naturally placed as possible. I'm glad you kept it. A real learning moment for me. I have to get out of the thought of fabrics being placed as orderly and 'tidied' up. This is a beautiful piece but honestly, everything you make is glorious!!

Thanks! The pink thing? I’m trying to think if I used something green without rewatching video 😆. If you’re referring to the pink one it’s called a bead funnel tray. Used to pour beads back into a tube or bag. But I like to use it for other things.
