5 snacks challenge is probably the best thing you've ever come up with, I'm glad that it's back and as much as I enjoy the relaxing and cozy atmosphere of the Borderline and Chavee cafe, nothing beats a lively scenery of a night market and you walking around in search of tasty snacks.
@12:00 The orange thing is call Foy Thong, it’s egg yoke mixed with sugar and strain it on boiling water. Believe it or not, it originated in Portugal. @29:00 is quail eggs.
The first snack is โรตี "Roti" and I think the golden threads on top is called ฝอยทอง. "Foy Thong". One thing about Thailand is the overuse of plastics. It might be good to decline use of plastics for the snacks. Nice video. Makes me want to go back and visit Thailand. Greetings from the Philippines :)
When you were eating that sausage, it reminded me of my trip to a saigon temple where I got 3 skewers of "meat" from a street vendor. They tasted like pure fatty unknown meat. There were a whole pack of street dogs walking around and I threw the sausage on the ground for them to eat and none of them would eat it. They sniffed and walked away. Wasn't a good sign.
That coconut smoothie is truly sumptuous and always a pleasure to get it from a market here in Pattaya. Another simple but great snack is hot soya milk with sweet or savoury doughnuts from an early morning street stall and only 17 Baht!
I think that the singer will be flattered to learn that she features on the Cycling Canadian's video. That food looks delicious with that orange colour. I haven't come across orange noodles but I suppose it comes from one of the food add ons. Happy snacking Doug.
Welcome Back..Doug and his all familiar 5 snacks challenge at Mae Sot Saturday night market...and Kudos to you for sucessfully ending the Challenge without any issues....Hope u enjoyed making this Vlog...made famous during your stays in Malaysia / Bangladesh / Myanmar already...😋 PS - u can add in a Sub Rule as well...Get another Sports T-Shirt...and increase ur Wardrobe ...Haha....Hope to see it Happen...Ok ???😇
It’s fun watching you snack at the night market. Yes, the tropical coconut 🥥 smoothie drink is the winner for me too. She actually blends it with fresh strips of coconut flesh. It must have been quite uncomfortable for you to sit around the streets to film and eat the snacks. Thank you for making the effort and sharing with us. 😊🙏
You could do a whole series on seats in Asia from the little stools of Vietnam to the concrete gutters of India. I often joke to my friends that a chai stall in India with an old plastic chair is 3 star and a chai stall with an old plastic chair under a tree is a five star must visit.

yeay ,first snack challenge in almost a year ! eating sushi from the open market, you are braver than I thought :)
Thai Isaan sausage with cabbage is my favorite. One bite follow by one piece of cabbage, so good

Hi Doglos i like the night videos how much u paid for d coconut drink from the Caribbean
Hi Doug. Any update on how long you plan to spend Thailand? Do you still have plans to come back to Canada when your visa expires?
Please come back again Bangladesh
Douglas, the egg skewers are quale eggs.
Doug, what sort of food would you say you have an authority on? Poutine? Maple syrup?
The idea of the cabbage is eat one or two piece with very sausage bite. Eaten together,
Those are Thai pork sausages. Tasty but heavy on the garlic.
Doug and food...2 different planets
Take a bite of the sausage. Nibble on the chili 🌶️ to enhance flavor of sausage. Eat cabbage 🥬 to cool down 😹 your mouth.
Its quail eggs not pigeon eggs.
Preferred those with house flies, ho ho ho
I like your video but it's toooo long
Quail eggs👍
That is Quail egg in your snack sir
