I'll bet it's a good rule of thumb that the more outrageous it looks, the less reliable it'll be under tough use.
Frank Hellman althoufh 99 percent of the time it actually is cheap pawn shop trash blades. very rarely you can actually see a very weird looking blade and it actually works perfectly. mostly companies such as schrade fits that portfokio

What I learned a very long tine ago about Frost when I was younger is if you want a knife that Works, Lasts and Gives You No Problems,

I don't see a problem with buying cheap knives if you are not going to abuse them. I have a few moraknvis for fishing and light use that are great. Some folders for daily carry at work too. Obviously cheap fantasy blades are going to stuck tho.

Yes, I think most knew already. It is a wall hanger. It does look neat. I guess it would work fair as a home defense blade. I could think of better options, but this looks scary and can do some major damage, so that would work.

I bought a cheap Elk Ridge kukri a while back and it cuts great it's lightweight and really sharp I use it while I go fishing I test my knives sharpened on crab rope I determine how sharp It Is by how many slashes it takes to cut through the Rope the kukri went through with one cut

On some knife and swords websites they say never cut wood to test i was chopping wood with a knife like that and the tip of the knife broke off and almost got in my right eye. For good Knifes and Swords go to trueswords.com AND ALWAYS GET A (FULL TANG ) SWORD OR KNIFE.
Something to be said for full tang. I have chopped with the cheap pakistan full tang $15 bowies and bent them. Tap them back in shape with a hammer and keep going. You should see if frost will replace it just for grins and giggles.

That knife is actually indestructible, forged from a meteor and tempered to 73,000 rockwell hardness... You just happen to be freakishly strong, beyond human comparison. 😄
One knife that is not full tang, the handle is hollow metal pinned to the blade, likely right around the lower edge of the blade. The other is a field knife - full tang - the handle is shaped into the tang of the blade and grip panels are pinned directly to the tang. Fantasy knives are collector's pieces. Very few of them function as an actual knife.
This video is why I never bought a frost cutlery knife. Even as a kid I knew they were junk.

Just slap some black paint on it, make a new handle out of twigs and paracord, and sell it as a survival knife. 99% of those qualify as fantasy knives anyway.
Look fir high carbon steel if you want a strong blade. 1055 carbon is my lowest that i’ll buy. I recommend the Gi tanto from cold steel if youre looking for a cheap, strong, and reliable knife. You can find countless reviews of this blade on here and none of them dissapoint. The gi tanto is my current home defense weapon ( because i dont have a gun yet) but i feel very safe.

just to make it clear to viewers that dont know much about knives and such, that if you are going on an outdoor adventure somewhere remote and you dont want to carry an ax or hatchet, then make sure they have a knife that is capable of doing some of the work one would do with with an ax or hatchet. i must also make it clear to the less experienced folks out there in youtube land that you never want to take a cheap and unreliable knife on any outdoor adventures. theres a lot of good companies making good camp and bushcraft blades out there so i recommend doin some research and spending 100+ dollars on a good quality blade. even if you dont go adventuring all that often .

Here's a tip if the knife has holes in the middle of the blade it's probably trash and you should avoid the whole brand altogether as they are more about looks than function
