Mw2 will forever be my favorite COD with the most memories. The long night, getting on after school on a Friday and playing from 5pm till the sun came out the next morning just to go to bed for five hours and do it all again the next day. All the Search and destroy games, Spending so much time getting good at quick scoping, getting fall on every gun, gold skulls, The list goes on and on MW2 had everything right and for me besides bo1 they've never been able to recreate the magic of that game
And I somehow can still hit a quad feed with a barrett in this game I will never know, what they should do is give snipers speed, the barrett some actual damage and probably flinch on snipers so we don't get anymore complaining, I love not having flinch but I still know it's very cheap

Treyarch doesnt give a shit about sniping community in fact its one of CoD studios that fucking hate QuickScoping lol they always were vocal about how its stupid since first Black Ops. Im more than sure if they would have 100% free hand then sniping in their games would be gutted as fuck lmao.
This is probably the smoothest sniping cod since mw2. I love how you can center your dot on something and when you scope in, it goes to exactly where the center dot was. You scope in on modern warfare and you end up slightly off centered.
8/10, the taste of Battlefield and the gold old sniping days are back, it’s like you’re holding L96 from MW1, I’ve never enjoyed an alpha sniping ever before this one, even with some sniper attachments are locked, it stills fun, hope they get rid of SBMM then it’ll be the best
5/10 for sure! Although I can drop 30+ kills and have fun, the movement speed just doesn't flow and feel natural for me! MW was such a great fresh start to COD and I feel like that'll be it for me! Plus there are plenty of PS5 games coming out that I may stay distracted on

I would give the Cold War Alpha a solid 7/10. Killfeed is just a little too fast but snipers are amazing. The reg guns are really good as well and seems like a pretty balanced cod all around. Just take SBMM out/tone it down and it will be a top tier new gen Cod.

I am rating the Cold War alpha a solid 8/10 so far. The sounds , HUD and guns are so clean and sniping feels like mw2 highrise poppin off ... just filthy. The only reason it lost two points was just down to the movement and the feel of the game. Running and sliding around feels kind of robotic to me. A few issues they can easy fix for sure.

Every new cod I get my hands on the first thing I do is test trickshots, I found out you can nac super easily, besides the fact that the game is a little choppy/laggy with a few tweaks. This game can revive the trick shot scenes, I'm spending hours in custom games lmao

i give the alpha a 7/10 for two reasons, one is obviously the sbmm, and two is because i havent played a cod on a console for the past almost two years so plugging in my kbam to the ps4 and going back to 60fps for only a couple days, i really didnt feel like i got to experience the full glory of the game. So once that beta comes out on pc im sure that rating will go up to a 9/10.

Cold war is honestly a pretty good game so far. Love the sniping the spawns aren't that bad, overall just a fun game. Sniping is the best thing about this game so far cuz it reminds me of mw2 and mw3 sniping missing the good old days.
maaaaan you make it look so easy. I’m a monster in MW but I couldn’t hit a damn thing in the CW alpha. I’d give the CW alpha a 7. I don’t think snipers need a nerf (contrary to popular belief) because with no aim assist, being better than everyone else in your lobby with a sniper is much more difficult than it is in MW. It’ll take some time to get used to for sure. Less dragscoping & more centering is needed, which is hard for me.

I thought the game was fluid, smooth and fast paced, however the feed was too fast, yes it’s more of a challenge to hit a feed which is good but we’ve been used to big feeds on mw, so if they meet somewhere in the middle that would be sick. Keep up the great work man
The alpha was a 10/10 because it felt like snipers actually had a CHANCE to fight back when they went against reg gunners. The movement also felt really smooth and the maps felt fast and action-packed.

This COD is a very good one because it’s a simple OG fun cod and the movement is smooth as well as the ADS speed for snipers and it’s so satisfying to snipe and it’s more aggressive than MW! The only thing is SBMM and kill feed can be a little longer but other than that it’s a solid COD!🔥

Imma rank BOCW a solid 8/10. I feel like the movement is kinda weird, its between MW and older CoDs. I think its just gonna take some time to get used to. If/ when they add the M14 I hope its good bc in Bo1 it was MEGA slept on, u could 2 tap sum1 from across the map if u get atleast 1 headshot. I also want Bo1 Gold Camo back (the best gold camo ever btw). The best part is that the open beta comes out the day b4 my birthday which is pretty cool if u ask me.
It’s a great game, can’t wait! There’s a few issues like server, sbmm and bullet damage through players. I hitmarkered just about every collateral but everything else is great!! This game feels like prime call of duty!

my favorite part of cold war in the alpha was how fresh it was. It was different from Modern warfare but felt like old COD
It’s a great game, can’t wait! There’s a few issues like server, sbmm and bullet damage through players. I hitmarkered just about every collateral but everything else is great!! This game feels like prime call of duty!
10/10 so satisfying getting kills and that headshot sound is beautiful I could imagine later when the game releases with bo1 dlc maps it's definitely gonna feel like black ops 1 and a great year to
