- Azzy gets his yearly Thanksgiving Day feast! Today is was raining all day long, but I still managed to deep fry our turkey!

Asriel is a tame American-bred red fox of the White Mark color phase/morph/subspecies. He is from a dealer in Pennsylvania, but made available to us by Dave and Tammy of Tiny Tracks, a breeder which I highly recommend! You can get one just like him at www.tinytrackse...
He enjoys a large outdoor habitat and also a small indoor caged spot in my living room. Foxes are said to make 'bad' pets, but I would rather say foxes make wonderful pets!... just rather destructive, moody pets, NOT FOR CHILDREN (they BITE... soft, medium, AND HARD... you have to learn exactly when to stop petting them!).
Every potential fox owner/companion MUST have an outdoor pen built fox-proof (the biggest expense in owning a fox...1-3 thousand dollars); here is how I built my outdoor pen: i.imgur.com/gKF...

I love this fox. Such a special spirit. I know it's hard to go from one pet that is very vocal to the next one who has a personality that is quieter (same thing happened to me) but maybe the less talkative ones are just deeper thinkers. :-) Thank you for rescuing this very special creature :-) What a lovely meal, this fox is very lucky and is livin' the best life!
