I found that the easiest way to get the bulbs in/out is to unplug it from the molex connector and then get the bulb out. This is on my agenda of things to do to my 98. When I have done this to my wife's '11 4Runner, I actually bought a small polishing wheel for a drill and used the Meguiars' Plasti-x on that to polish the lens afterwards.
As I like to tell my (adult) kids, if it were easy anyone could do it-- LOL, in regards to removing the headlight bulb clip. thanks for the video! I really enjoy your Cruiser videos. I have a 2000 TLC, 278k miles. Working to get it back to a daily driver for my wife. She used to love driving it 10 years ago, but feels like these days every month something needs to be fixed, and she's not a fan of that. Her loss :-)
My 05 land cruiser fog light assembly is fogged up from the inside as well so I’m replacing them. Thank you for showing how to get the whole assembly out.
Did the same thing. Make sure to add a coat of wax or some sort of protection every month or it'll start fading again. But my car is under the sun 24/7, so it probably accelerated the wear.
@@MisterMemo If your LC is 98-2002, the headlights are glass. So it'll never fade. But doesn't hurt to add protectant on it! :) For LC 2003+ they switch to plastic, those sucks so bad. Fade as easily as the fog lights.
I am sorry, but I am done. I joined more than a year and a half ago in hopes of seeing the eclipse get done. The promise was sema, that came and went...and now it seems like we arent doing the eclipse at all. Instead of actual content we got unboxing videos. This was supposed to be a revival, bringing a legend back from the dead. Now I dont know what it is, but as for me I am out. Best of luck to you. I hope that the eclipse gets finished.
Aanathan Thank you for your comment I really appreciate it. I document my life here for me and only me. All my projects and cars take time and lots of money. If you thought this was a channel just dedicated for my eclipse I’m sorry to make you believe that. There was never a promise of SEMA only a goal to hope reach per all my videos. Again I really appreciate everyone that watches this channel and I hope everyone doesn’t think this is just another car channel, but a channel of me documenting my own life. I’m sure you can appreciate that. 😎👍🏼 stay golden!

Your fog lights and headlights on the land cruiser will for sure now perform better on our next trip!
For sure I'm ready to hit the trails with these fogs nice and clear!

Thanks for watching! You’ll enjoy the light output after you restore them!
Good result
Царь Леонид indeed loved the results!
Bro is possible to do the same method without removing?
Yea, you don't have to remove the lights.
Put some painters tape around the light to protect the paint.

thanks for the tip! I added Meguiars Headlight Protectant Light Lamps detailing wax after to help them stay protected. So far so good!

@@KraziAzn2 Mine are plastic, but I regularly maintain my LC's exterior. So that everything lasts longer. :)
