It is weird, the last few times I have had mine out at around 5pm (I live near Washington DC), it was really struggling to connect and sometimes when I would zero it, it would read a couple of mph and just act goofy. Today when I used it it worked perfectly. It really sucks though when you get all ready for a speed run and it isn't acting right. I was starting to wonder if I had damaged it somehow but today again... it was working flawlessly.

@@techspac3 I am thinking about it..... I can tell when it is not being accurate but it would be fun to run 2 at the same time just to see how close they read. The only thing that sucks about them is they have a much slower refresh time that some higher end GPS units so it is critical you stay at top speed for an extra second or so to make sure you really get the top speed. I like the red one as it is easier to find when it gets flung off a cartwheeling RC into thick grass! 😄I might paint the back of it orange or something.... the other day it took me a few min to find it as it landed screen side down/black side up!

I ordered the blue drive car from temu a few days ago, to see what kinda cars they have. I ordered before doing any research and seem to have got lucky with my pick, i hear good reviews about it. Do they make 3s batteries that fit in the tray, or do i need to modify it? Cheers
Sir one question i jave the q117 pro, i run it with 3s and also 2s after seeing this video.. but straight out the box and first try with 2s lipo the car struggles when i push the limit or when i go back and turn and push the throttle the car stopt and blinking lights.. and when i try it again i hear some strange rattle sound.. sometimes it spins the wheels fast and sometimes no respone whats the problem you think? I know you have 4 of those cars
@@techspac3 yes friend the car struggles when you press full throttle and you hear a rattle sound, last times the car doesnt response anymore to the controller i need to restart after a few seconds does the same
@@mussietube9909 it does slow down a bit but its barely noticeable. When the battery reaches its low voltage cutoff it will just stop the car. It wont rattle etc. You may have a faulty unit mate

That first run with the 16101 syu pro must have been with a dead or defensive battery...i actually ordered 1 after i saw how fast and durable it was...i love mjx but their 2 battery remotes are not nearly as good as the syu 16101 tx..nice demo..😊

Oh, interesting... For some time I had both of then but I don't remember such a difference. Maybe the motor mount is reversed on the truggy and a bigger pinion installed.
The only question I have is on the “MJX’s” after you press the power button on you have to press it again 5 times if you want to run it on 3s otherwise it’s going to run slower than it’s supposed to go. I have several “MJX’s” and that’s normal for “MJX’s”.🤷🏻♂️

First off, really enjoyed your videos. I love the velodrome runs. Keep up the great work! Could we possibly do 12th-scale Chinese vehicles next?? A couple of suggestions when doing your speed runs... Might want to consider moving the spectator cam further back along the track. There is a fair few seconds where the viewer can't see the truck on the far side of the track and it's "dead air time". If you could switch to the spectator cam earlier to view the truck this would be more engaging for the viewer. You could also relocate the GPS to the front of the car to add weight and reduce wheelies.
Thanks for the feedback mate. Which 1/12 Chinese cars were y9u thinking? I generally do more than one specator cam but this summer have been really warm and the camera's keep on over heating. This video's spectator came stayed on because i had it sitting in the shade for the majority of filming. As soon as the camera's overheat they shut down. I filmed another video at the Veldrome today and i placed the camera on the opposite side of where i ussualy stand, facing towards the cars it looks great but it shut down within 20min of filming. I ussually spend around 1.5 hours when i film at the Velodrome. So thats the issue at the moment. Next video will introduce a new camera angle 'Track View'😬🔥
