I think the graphic line will work best for electronic and experimental music. Because of the dry sounds and minimal sustain. I know what the 21” legacy sounds like and it is muted quite a bit here, but in a good jazzy/ hip hop kinda way. The 22” ride is clearly a heavier model, which for a ride is the way to go. Get a heavier model because the weight will hell the resonance and sustain, where the thinner models tend to sound more dry and muted. I think the hhx will be best for dry crashes and some larger rides for that trashy drum and bass sound, but the AAX or AA models will provide the most clarity after the printing process. Which I would see being more popular. I wouldn’t want to pay HHX prices without getting the full tone of the cymbal. Thats why I see the AA being the most affordable and beat all around template. AAX secondary.
