great trick -seen a version of this before somewhere but this is much better -allowing the audience to take any 12 cards and then any 4 is not how i did it before . Will do this version now for sure

Awesome! I give it a little twist to make it seem even more random and impossible.. if one of the 4 cards the spectator chooses is a face card, i tell them that face cards are wild and he can make it any other number value he pleases. The trick still works and makes it even more impossible!

Do you count the Ace as 1 or 10? I'm not sure if you consider the ace a face card or not.

nvm, I just figured it out. Prediction card is always the 40th card so as long as you are consistent with the ace, it could be one or ten.
