Solid vids bro! I just completed basically all the same services as your 90k vids, on my wife's 15 fit. Haven't driven much, but it seems good and noticeably more responsive... My only concern is that I have a small amount of smoke and smell from the tail pipe. Did you experience this, or have any thoughts?

I've read that it could be that moisture got in, which is definitely possible. The valve cover & intake was off for a few days and it rained hard. Plus we generally have high humidity here.

Also, I soaked the intake valves with brake clean. And had to reuse the pcv valve because I damaged the threads on the new one. The pcv valve was also soaked in brake clean and sprayed out... that's all I can think of to cause smoke & smell. Otherwise I must have effed something up that I cannot figure out yet.

Yes mine felt more responsive too and smoother. Give it a hundred miles and all the cleaners should clear out.

Damn, I don't get that kinda mileage but I mainly do city driving and live in a hilly area.

Under those conditions I usually get around 33-34mpg....hell even when I tow a motorcycle (400lbs+ moto, 200lbs trailer) I can still get 33mpg

@@DaBinChe I assume youre also not flooring it either? Cause idk what I'm doing wrong thats not keeping me above 30mpg in the city

@@jamesr5574 Is your's a CVT or Manual? Mine is Manual. I don't think CVT gets as good mpg. I drive pretty aggressively....in the example of the video more aggressively than normal.

@@DaBinChe could be the case most of the people on the fit subreddit are manuals cause I do have cvt. If this is normal for it, the brightside is that it's still better than the last car I drove.
