Just like most things proper set up, practice and patients are the key. I've seen some of your past welding and you will do just fine. Thanks for watching and continuing support. 🙏
GOOD JOB. to be definitively efficient against rust , you should put grease everywhere. grease is the only thing very efficient against rust. put grease between metal and carpet, inside door, behind metallic bumper, under the vehicle, behind the repairs you can make (everywhere inside the body - hidden erea - instead of using paint), hollow areas (necessarily hidden, so no need to be aesthetic). For rear wings unreachable with a paintbrush, use an extender and pour old oil everywhere each year. Rust almost always comes from the inside and welds. Handyman Experience - 35 years. From france
Thanks for the video. Did you use a flux welder for that patch? Also, when you tacked it on are you just closing your eyes for a second when you pull the trigger? I’m new to welding, that seemed easy the way you did it.
I used mig on these patches but can be done with flux core. For the few tacks to hold the patch in place I line it up turn my head away from the weld and close my eye's. Once everything is tacked in I wear an auto darkening helmet to finish it out. It does take a little practice. Thanks for watching much appreciated.
I see this all the time! Owner doesn't want to put the money out to fix it right! But has money for big tires ....and leveling kit! But cheap on rust repair......
Hello, I got convinced by one your videos to buy Ani R160hps from PrincessAuto. I just want to know what setting you use for you base and clear. Cant wait to paint my car very soon. Thank you!
I run all my guns the same full fluid, full fan less 1/4 turn. But 30 psi for base 33 psi for MS clear with this gun. All ways do a test spray. My settings maybe to fast.
Great job. Looks nice.
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Appreciate the vid SWC. I gotta do some welding pretty soon myself and I’m most definitely not a welder😂😂this gives me more confidence

Great repair! @30:07 I can see the bubling on the paint beyond the repair you made. This is going to be a repeat customer!
Good chance it will be back one day. Can only do what's asked and quoted. Thanks for watching and commenting.
SWC !!! 👍💯😁
Thanks for the support as always 🙏.
