Nachos here thanks for the chat it was fun can't wait to see people's thoughts on what we discussed. Also surprise give away tell me your best stories of pre rebellion era that you experienced for a chance at winning a free land plot . Winner will be chosen in the next 48 hours from time of this videos release.
My favorite moment in splinterlands pre rebellion was when I opened my keep. I only had one land plot because that’s all I could afford at the time. (Land plots were still hundreds of dollars when I bought 😂). But anyway I had been playing for a while at that point and I was so excited to open my land plot and when I saw that it turned out to be a keep I was elated. I texted my buddy about it and it was definitely one of the most exciting moments I had in splinterlands.
I started playing 03/2021 It was somewhere between untamed and dice. I remember buying land plots in the beginning for $10 a piece. I decided to spread my plots out and when I got up to region 46 I was waiting until more areas were claimed so I could spread my plots out more. Then I watched a town hall and Matt said you probably don't want to do that so I went ahead and claimed the rest of them. But it turns out that very last one that I claimed in region 46 before I gave in and claimed the rest of them turned out to be a castle.
signed up for an account Dec. 2021 but didn't start playing until April 2022. The community was vibrant and there were many more game streamers than there are now.(sadly)...Before the bots issue(they started off mediocre but ended up making ranking so hard). There were the opportunities to land a jackpot chest. I personally hit for 3 over the course of playing before the nerfing of rewards began. Once for 50k dec, to me was a hell yeah kind of moment. I then hit once for a LGF oshunas(still own) and then when they switched to sps from dec i hit a 4 figure sps chest about the same value at the time as the 50k dec. All dopamine creating moments. As, I am listening and talking about how you had one focus to gain the 5 daily chests...that made it very easy for newbies like myself to concentrate on getting the max daily chances while building the rest of my deck out. Personally feels like it was easier then to be a new player than it is now. But like everything else in life, changes happen and we have to adapt or disappear.
started in 2021 was hesitant to invest at first battling in bronze $1k later i was playing in Diamond with my collection power a now long lost term of the past XD..my favorite moment so far was getting the soulkeep game mode it is nice to include a new game mode to keep old players entertained and to bring in more players.
