Y'all should definitely check out Baba Yaga and Viking from these guys both songs are incredible. If you want some other bands to check out go for Imminence, Landmvrks, Paleface, Knosis, or Whitechapel. Whitechapel is my personal favorite band.
When I first started listening to stp mainly on here I was for sure convinced his vocals definitely had a ton of layering and “help” in the studio. Until I seen him do this live and I swear he sounds more deeper and guttural in raw form and even more terrifying. I think instead of enhancing his voice and layering in a recording studio like a lot of artists do, they do the opposite with Alex and tone him down. He’s got a lot of power in his voice.
Reacting to Alex Terrible and STP is always a fun adventure. The staples you guys needs to check out are as follows. Covers - Bad Guy, Astronaut In the Ocean, Old Town Road, and All I Want For Christmas. Regular songs - Baba Yaga, Bonebreaker (live), Viking, Agony, Bratva, and Zavali Ebalo.
Oh so much you could check out. Some recommendation; Viking OMV, Doomslayer (Alex wrote some lyrics to Doom music by Mick Gordon and now plans to do a whole Doom inspired solo album and this is his 1st showcase), Bonebreaker Live, 1984 OMV (anti war song). They don't really miss so anything that looks interesting will be worth it.
Watch an Evgeny Novikov (the drummer for the band) one take drum playthrough if you want the sauce. This one slaps ua-cam.com/video/i5Wku8b4LVo/v-deo.html
To be fair, thats not a live recording. He actually can play all of their songs live, but given the speed he plays at, it won't sound as clear or clean in a live-studio performance. The reason being? Well, at those speeds, the ability to play each note at a volume that is loud enough and evenly loud... and how evenly spaced each note is played becomes much softer (volume) and and uneven (in terms of each note being as loud as each other, and each note being played cleanly without hearing notes that are sliiiightly out of time. It won't register with anyone's ears at a live show... but, if youre a drummer like me, you can't ignore it! 😅 So, to combat this, the drums will be gridded during post-production and recording to make each note 100% in-time 100% of the time. Likewise, triggers will be used to make each note much louder and of equal volume - to give an example, those 'gravity blasts' would NEVER sound that loud, both in terms of how evenly loud each note is, but also in terms of exactly how loud that rudiment can be played. If you're interested, gravity blasts was originally a jazz technique that utilises the bounce and fulcrum of the stick to create that sound of a "buzz roll" with one hand. Triggers arent a bad thing imo, but I'm not a fan of gridding playthroughs. Its misleading. But, their drummer is genuinely insane
If you thought his lows were boar-like in this vid, wait till you hear Alex’s alligator growl on the song Viking lmao. Also you say nothing kid friendly about it, again wait till you guys eventually watch Viking🤣you dudes rock

Guys, watch the following Slaughter to Prevent Viking video. It's just perfect.
Sam! I’m gonna send you a live video I took at Rockville of Alex screaming without the mic and also him doing big mic bonks on his head!
You guys should react to his cover of the song “decapitation fornication” original by the band “infant annihilator” he absolutely nukes the mic.
OMFG - the Billie Eilish cover is priceless! I just laugh the whole time! 🤣
These guys are the up and comers - the talent and the niche are perfect.
