Loved the vlog Jamie. Premier cabin looked so comfy and plenty leg room 6ft here. The food looked brilliant. I would definitely pay the extra to go in the Premier section.
I’ve used VA Premium between Miami and LHR for roughly the past twenty years. The crew are always friendly and professional and I’ve always been satisfied with the service. I would highly recommend the extra room for a transatlantic flight.
Enjoy your vlogs. I just priced a round trip, Dulles (DC) to London.....over $2100 for 2 person economy and $4081 for 2 in Premium. Instead, we booked QM2 round trip for the crossing.
Hi Jamie. Love your vlogs. So you feel the extra cost of Premium over Delight is worth it? Planning our return flights to Orlando for 2024 hols and cruise. Thanks.
Nice blog Jamie.. I try and plan ahead when visiting my son in NY and often find I can get Premium Economy at a reasonable price. I always fly with Virgin. My son who travels a lot between US and Europe. 95% of the time he gets upgraded to Business class. I’m still dreaming of the day that happens to me😆😆
Hi Jamie, just a quick tip, if the food in premium isn’t available ask to see the upper class menu, they have to offer this but they will try to give you an economy meal if they can, just say you don’t want economy as you’ve paid for premium. X
BTW Jamie the flip flop thing. Its for safety. If there's an emergency and you have to evacuate the aircraft via the slides, and run on potentially uneven / compromised ground, flip flops ain't going to help. It's for your safety rather than any etiquette issues.
Yes this was what I was referring to yet the vast majority of this flight was over the ocean so I don’t know that wearing shoes would have come in very useful in the ocean!
nice video.. congrats on your content. in your opinion Dream Liner vs A350 premium Economy? which plane do you prefer in terms of noise, space and technology?
Well I flew Economy delight on the A350 on the way out with a visit to the cockpit (not sure if you saw that vid?) and returned in premium. I like both airplanes but the A350 seals the deal for me: I think the wider fuselage does make a difference to space. I know the pilot raved about the A350 from a tech and comfort of flying perspective.
Nice vlog Jamie,I love Virgin planes..That woman coughing without a mask on would have annoyed me! I'm flying on the Tui Dreamliner on Tuesday,to start my cruise, and I'm taking masks incase anyone sat nearby starts coughing..
@@TravelBlogJamie And Ive just come back after my cruise, last Tuesday, and lots of people on the ship were coughing, and not covering their mouths, plus not using the hand sanitisers, and guess what I came down with Covid too.tested positive when I got home..
TBH their Premium Economy looks better than their rather weirdly laid out business class. Looks perfect for a two travelling together - you get all the bens of business class just minus the lay flat bed, which is nice but on a 7.5 hour flight is is really really needed? Guess now you are back at work, we'll have to wait a while for more travel blogs!
Virgin Airlines is utter crap, I flew to Orlando from Manchester around 7 yrs ago and the plane ✈️ was dirty and grubby, the cabin was very hot and the food was awful- when compared to QATAR OR EMIRATES, it doesn’t come anywhere near close to- the main reason not to travel to America, which is a shame really 😔🇬🇧🙏
The footage of London from the window looked stunning! Surely the best view on an airport approach!
It was mesmerising ❤️❤️❤️
Wait till you land at DCA :)
A350-1000 is a fantastic aircraft. Flew to JFK last year on 1 and returned from Orlando after. Premium Economy both ways
👍👍👍
Enjoyed vlog Jamie we luv premium. Have a great Sunday mate
Premium all the waaaaay!
Brilliant video. Thank you. Flying PE to Orlando later this year on this type plane. I really really can’t wait!
Have a great flight

It was a nice treat!!

Yes, extra leg room important for me on transatlantic although this premium experience was good 👍
You don’t realise how big London is until you have seen it from the air like that!
Very true
I'm flying VA premium to Johannesburg next year for a safari, so this was very helpful. Thanks😊
Have a great flight and safari - how amazing!
Great vlogs as always Jamie 😊Premium class veryyy nice
Thanks Linda ❤️
Another great Vlog Jamie, Virgin A350 looks good.
I’m definitely a fan
Thanks for the shout out about the flip-flops! 😂
Of course
Love all your travel Vlogs! Great mixture of info and comedy 😂 I’m an ex-primary teacher and I love travelling myself 🧳
Thank you so much 😊 Keeeeeep travelling!
2 meals for a 7-hour flight was very generous. Their PE cabin looks nice
That’s the norm on this route including when I’ve flown with other carriers

That’s perfect but will you get to see any of England? (Ps our round trip was £800 each and we added premium for £350 each).
Hi Jamie. Love your vlogs.

If j have the £££, yes, worth it for the comfort

Oh that would be lovely 😂 I’ve never had that on a flight yet!

Well coincidence or not, maffoo came down with covid about 4 days later!

"We felt the extra inches" (wink) "were definitely worth it"
Honestly cant beat a good bit of British humour 🤣🤣👍
😉
Is Premium worth the extra £££? Let's find out!

Oh you really don’t have to wait long at all lol 😂
Seeing the UK out the window from the airplane on return always sends me into depression
It’s difficult
True
Great video again …. Did you catch covid with the inconsiderate coughing
Maffoo did, unfortunately
The Vitgin premium A330 and 787 have wider seats
👍
how'd you get the silver salt and pepper shakers they are normally just black plastic in prem
I didn’t do anything - this is what was given to us
Here comes the flip flop question: doesn’t your toes get cold? 😅 burlesque maffooo ❤ Take care guys, x Debbie
Hah! No, toes all good thanks 😆
What row was this?
It’s indicated in the video - I don’t remember the row off the top of my head I’m afraid
👀
Peeping
I would pay extra for that. ❤
Me too. Oh, I did 😂
@@TravelBlogJamie 🤣🤣 so you did
@@sh8k3y 😀
Youre hilarious!

Nice freakin flip flops.

A 7 year old review holds little currency now - our flight last month was fabulous
