XB50AP is the older model. XB50AP comes in both with mic & without mic variants. Same goes for XB55AP, it is a newer model of 50AP and again comes in both with mic & without mic versions.

Sony xb55ap is the successor of Sony xb50ap.
Sony xb 55 and Sony xb 50 don't come with mic functionality..
That's not metal that's metallic finish,it's made up of plastic
Sony xb 75ap comes with aluminium material

In my opinion sony mdr xb55ap sounds better than xb510as
But dun get me wrong that 510 as is bad but its just that the highs are not that great as in xb55ap
X55 is better. I use Viper4android Fx app and they sound like high end earbuds!
Sony mdr 55AP ya one plus Z bullets kiska sound quality accha hai (wired ya wireless doesn't matters to me)
I think you should go with One plus bullet wireless Z Bass edition that would be better choice.

how's the bass when compared to CX180?
CX180 has no bass, but excellent clarity. Bass in Sony is excellent. Overall Sony is better, also double the price. Maybe you should look at CX275.
