These are not strange facts about Garth and Tricia. Their love story is my favorite. They are so kind and sweet to each other. Years ago who would have thought Garth Brooks would be the sweetest most romantic man I’ve learned about. We just don’t see this much and kind of love but maybe once in a lifetime. I wish someone could talk them into having a concert for older concert enthusiasts. I still love to go to concerts but my husband doesn’t think it’s safe.Maybe come to Tunica and only let concert goers over 65. I just can’t move as fast anymore. Probably 20 years or so ago the son of a friend of mine died. He was in high school. He & his friends were big Garth fans. So his friends went to their home outside of Tulsa & somehow talked to him & asked him to sing at the funeral. Said he couldn’t do that (I agree. That would shift the focus off the funeral.) But he & Tricia came to the funeral. Which I thought was a very nice gesture. I don’t listen to country music anymore, so I’m not really a fan but he makes Oklahoma proud. Nice guy!
