Where did you get the dash kit from.
Just got this in and started installing it. Powered on the accessories and the whole unit started smoking. All the sound and video cables immediately melted.
I think the wire issue , arrange a new harness to you now.
So you Fried you car
No just cable melt it cause by bad connection .
No car is fine trying out new cables soon

How did the cluster little screend worked after the installation?.
Also what canbus did you use? And did it had amplifier?
The radio designed plug and play , and yes new radio also have 50W*4 AMP

I have the Kia optima plug in hybrid 2017 with nav / 360 camera. What will happen to PHEV if I change to this? Will I still reach those menus? There is menus for chargetime etc that I need to reach.

Pretty sure the only change is the display and os because its hooked directly to the computer of the car, should have all the same funtions
