We will never know how many fires didn't happen because of this video. Thanks for sharing.
Man, I was just messing around with fire and now I feel DIRTY so I’m binging these videos to educate myself
Playing with fire is probably worse than playing with a gun
Same
Yup, it is. Not only could you start a fire and possibly burn to death which is way more painful than shooting yourself dead. But if you survive, you will have spend more money on a brand new house with no furniture to move in with. So playing with fire is not very smart.
I actually didn’t know about the oven thing. I use to do this when I lived in my first home. Luckily nothing happened but if it did it would’ve been catastrophic.. I love the tips on here !
Good one with the broiler. I will check right now.
My mom doesn’t use that part, she uses the kitchen drawers.
I was expecting some more people here after the fire incident in the Bronx
thank you gab
well explained>>.
Please heed the warning about the potential for fire when extension cords are misplaced or used in an unintended manner. My mother and I almost lost our lives to a bedroom fire started by a pinched extension cord (mistakenly placed under a bed post). Make sure all extension cords have play in them and are cool to the touch. Please don't string extension cords together or plug one into a surge suppressor or an outlet extender.
I like to watch fire kilns UK PSA to scare me they scared me to take fire safety seriously
I just found out my stove has a drawer underneath with pots and pans and plastics from the previous owner
Free pots :)
@@jakc11202 and free fire fuel! ;)
And have fire extinguishers all over, front and back door and garage. Because with out them your house will burn down before help gets there. Some fire departments don't move very fast.

Candles are useless, however battery operated items such as lanterns and flashlights are good safety measures to take when stored properly.
Yes when I bought my stove plugged it in turned it on and accidentally turned on the warming drawer then after a while smelled plastic it was the plastic wrapping for the instructions that were in bottom warming drawer which took some time removing melted plastic from the bottom steel draw. So moral of story read the instructions first 🤓
Lol first find the instructions
Screw candles. Them things can relight themselves. My stove definitely has a storage drawer under it but I only put cookie sheets and metal brownie pans down there
Still, if I were you. I would move them to a much safer spot.
Be aware of the sandwich grill as well!
I did a very veeery stupid thing and I wonder how my appliance didn't started a fire.
I was running late and simply forgot to unplug the sandwich maker and I went to the job and when I got home I got shocked to see my sandwich maker starting and shutting off repeatedly.
What if I were in a city break for 2 whole days?
Oh, oh dear. Good thing you were not gone for too long.
Maybe there is a way to make a skyscrapers impervious to fire. Make the skyscraper air-tight with a special room on each floor. If a fire breaks out, people go into the room which then seals and all the oxygen is sucked out of building snuffing out the fire. Purely conjecture if that is feasible but could work.
Yikes, then people would suffocate in the building, I don’t think that is a very good idea.
The have this It's called a Co2 Fire extinguisher.
Who else is scared when there sleeping your house is gonna be on fire
Me, I am. But I know I am protected by a spell :) (and god)
I've had nightmares about it since I was little. I'm 23 now and it still happens. It's just such a scary idea.
@@456puff I have 20 fire extinguishers and smoke alarm.
@@portagepete1 That's great! I'm genuinely glad you're safe!
Extreme, bloody advert.
Good advice though!.
Interesting observation that we don't have a broil draw or a drawer underneath our ovens in the UK.
That is good, your people there pay attention more to fire safety, in America we are kinda dumb and people who make things don’t think.
