Neither did I, but this is now the second time I've done so in as many days. The other one was the guy from Primitive Technology making one out of wood ash.
NomadicStrength Easy tiger, I’m pretty sure he sleeps in a house every night and uploads these videos using a computer, in the air conditioning. It’s still cool having the hobbies and doing the stuff but you make it sound like he has given up on society and lives alone in the wilderness.
@@willie31133 lol I get that. Modern stuff is gonna be around (have you seen their kitchen?) but so many gym and fitness people do nothing but that. It's refreshing.
@@automaticninjaassaultcat3703 yeah the natural places here are fantastic, though I am envious of the culture you guys got. The reverence for the long walk
10:47 there’s something amazing about seeing a big ass strongman that is capable of lifting some heavy weight, braiding with beads. Beautiful work, Brian
8:17 It all makes sense now. Brian lifts weights so he can rip logs apart. Perfectly valid reason to get stronk. I'm gonna make me a wooden cuppy monstrosity thingy too now. Thanks for the idea!
Hey Brian, heard your interview with Mark Bell not to long ago and it was awesome. Sorry about all the crap you went through but to overcome it and be as massive as you are is inspiring. These outdoor vids are extremely relaxing/entertaining. Keep it up!
Idky but the whole time I was thinking "I am man. I chop wood. I make cup" Also this video reminds me why I fell in love with wood working and weight lifting. It just feels good.
People need to see what’s going on around them and that dropping back to a simpler way of living is what will sustain us going forward. The ones that can survive with little will be the ones that survive. That was very calming
Only clicked this to support you and because in another video you sounded excited about it, but then it ended up being a supremly relaxing and enjoyable video.
Such an incredible work. It was so cool to see it start as a log and become such a beautiful cup:) I am always amazed by your dedication and craftsmanship ❤️ I’ll buy it off of Etsy;)
just a friendly reminder to always be grateful that you live in nature with the means to defend, shelter and feed your family without the reliance/dependance of commerical supermarkets, government electricity, etc. god bless you brian youre a man's man for sure!
For a few minutes at the start of this I was envious that you have access to such a beautiful part of the world where I'm stuck in an inner city area of the UK, but then I realised no, you sharing this gives me the chance to experience in a way something I can't. I'm happy for you that you can be in such an amazing space and develop these cool skills, and thank you for sharing.
Hi Brian... Your very talented at carpentry and you can do Chinese knots too...that was beautiful.... . I read a lot of medical journals and the recent one said that eating meat and especially processed meat destroys the good bacteria in your gut and you eat meat with every breakfast... Maybe that is contributing towards your vomiting? Also a while back I read some research that linked microwaves and stomach cancer.... I am telling you for purely selfish reasons... I would like to see you bushcraft for a very long time.
love the work, im all for more nature build vids I think its something that alot of us lost along the way in finding that thing that gives us some peace and productivity.
Never been much of an outdoorsman, but I've had an interest lately, so it's pretty cool that you've been uploading these videos. You never disappoint man. Keep it up.
I would like to ask for a small favour, Brian. Can you try to perform a front lever in your next training video, even with one knee tucked in? I think that if a 250-pound man, who can deadlift and squat over 700 pounds and has a vertical jump to-the-moon, if this man can perform a front lever, it would be freaking awesome! Great condent once again. Keep up! Thank you for doing what you do!
What a welcome mental break from all the insanity in today's world. Not sure if I am more envious of your 390 lb Overhead Press or your current life style. I have felt really bad for all the small gym owners in these f'd up times... you seem to be doing ok. Bless you Brian.
Hi Brian, really enjoying these style of videos from you working/living on your new land. Keep up the great work. Very interesting to watch your process at handcrafting the bush-craft creations. Nice hawk/hatchet you've got there. Can you share who made that for you?
So cool seeing his part of you ! Do you use the things you build ? Give them away to friends? I have a traditional bowl that I eat from daily ( like you said bowl --> plates cause they are messy) that I got from my grandma and she had it for God knows how long. It literally 30-40 years old
What type of tool turned from the machette type thing to a saw? Also love the survival aspects on a lifting channel, feels very needed especially this year.
Thank you for sharing your new hobby with us. I hope I'm wrong, but I believe this whole pandemic (and other misc. insanity) is the government or some other group's attempt to control and/or destroy humanity. You should sell this on Etsy for $100

He could get so much more than that
I'd buy it
Has the auction started yet? Have I missed it?

Didn't think I would watch someone make a bowl at 5:30am in my lifetime.
Thanks for taking the time brother, I hope it was entertaining for you!

I remember a couple of years back when Brian got me so pumped about squatting and pressing, now I'm itching to chop some wood.
This is what real living is. Simple, real, quiet and deeply personal.

Such a beautiful vid! It brought me a lot of peace. Magnificent colors! Must have been a lot of work to put together. Thanks Brian, you're a gem
The other day I'm watching you in an overhead press tutorial, now you're bushcrafting. Respect.

Nice. No blood surprisingly 😉. I wouldn’t use green wood though.
