- This is the installation of the AMK 1/10 scale LCG 30% overdrive transmission on the AMK LCG Gen 2 Chassis. This is an awesome transmission, it just didnt work on this rig with this type of motor. Please enjoy.
You running 2 different axels ? I am new to this stuff. This is what i was told if i used my straight axel in the front and portal axel in rear. Gearing is off...IF NOT. I would guess that Axel diff is jamming if your Dragging that one. or a Rim is binding. That sound would make me cry. Good luck dude.
That transmission has 30% overdrive to the front wheels for improved climbing,, and tight turns. The overdrive puts more strain on the motor. This cheap outrunner motor just can't take it. I now have a different trans, and it's quiet now. Check out front overdrive for your rc crawler. Big performance improvement. I have most of my rigs with front overdrive. Thanks for watching 👍🏾💯
They got an esc to keep that out runner from being a speaker my friend check out the other esc no joke that esc makes that motor a speaker for real thank you for sharing your videos

Almost all outrunners are loud. A good esc may help
I'm looking into getting a quality outrunner setup, Holmes Hobbies, or even Rhino. I'm sick of the noise myself 🤣

Did you ever program your ESC to match your motor? The closest rig that I have to making that noise (which I bought used) is a VS410 that has those same driveshafts. Check your program first to make sure it is set for the correct motor size. I have plenty of rigs with over drive......and that is not the root of the noise. Hmmmmmmmm

@@rccrawlingaddict207 the front overdrive is making it drag on the new transmission. The old transmission dragged when screwed together and mounted down. 🤷🏾
@@OGRadGrow Ahhh, I forgot you already had over drive gears in it. The new tranny takes care of that!
