I noticed that there are a lot of products from Too Faced and other western brands that beauty influencers hate, who are into Western Make Up style, but are big in China. Especially when it comes to colour, saturation and the formula. Like there are also a lot of people whining that the saturation of the eyeshadows from Asian brands are too low, and therefore "shitty", and me as a Chinese think, well...it is suppose to be that way. Bold colours don´t sell in China, Japan and Korea. I mean look at Florasis. One of their palettes, where they had very bold eyeshadow colours, is doing very poorly in China. However, this collection is doing very good with Western Influencers. It is very interesting how different the view is when it comes to Make Up styles.
True.....me as Bangladeshi have a warmer skin tone and asian makeup brands don't show up on my skin but yet too faced never disappoints me be it for the product quality or the packaging.
I also adore cute and beautiful packing! Especially heart shaped things🥰 To me makeup is about bringing enjoyment into peoples lives and cute packaging brings a lot of people happiness
I love the highlighter! Ppl hate on it and say it's powdery but I loveee. It's the one I wear when I want colour but not too intense like the kvd alchemist palette

I think it has alot to do with regional differences in the market. Too faced has been around for more than 20 years and the general consensus among makeup youtube community is that the brand has stagnated in recent years and that the brand's image has also gone down with personal scandals involving the founders, inconsistent product quality and branding. Foreign brands will always be appealing in Eastern countries, just like how many Chinese brands on Judy's channel are rising over here in the West because they're different than our domestic brands. The cute packaging is exactly what makes it appealing to makeup consumers in China, Japan, and Korea where Too Faced has recently been targeting. I bet the products shown in the video had its trending moment in America when they first came out so now it's Chinese consumer's turn to rave about them 😄
The love flush blush is my fave blush from the formula to the packaging and I used to be able to buy them here in the us but I’m pretty sure they’ve been discontinued here💔
I still have yet to buy the blushes and highlighter 🥺 the blushes I’m struggling to get here in the US but hopefully I can get a friend to send me some ;-; you’ve convinced me to buy the Diamond highlighter though !! The packaging is so cute, like everything TF makes. Their brand is def up my alley n aesthetic 🥰💕 the heartcore lipsticks are some my fav too.. don’t remember if you’ve tried those.
They can order them online, it's ok if the makeup contains ingredients that are safe to use( Chinese Standars) if the makeup contains " New ingredients" the products have to be test....that's what I understand.

They aren’t just sold in Korea and China - it’s also sold in other parts of Asia, the EU, UK, etc. just not in America.
