Hey Generalkidd, I’m making a reference to your video awhile ago where you explored the secret pulse generator location on Two Betrayals in Halo 1. something you may find interesting is that the layout for that entire area behind the locked door is actually the same layout it had in the pre-release build of halo 1 (Halo CE 1749) originally, the 2nd generator had same layout, only a mirrored version. Not sure if you knew this but I thought it was very interesting. Bungie likely did just scrap that generator location seeing as they actually changed the second generator section for the final game, but didn’t change that hidden one. It’s odd that they didn’t just cut the area out entirely. Makes you wonder that if that 4th generator was part of the game, if the 2nd generator area would look like it, or if the 4th generator section would have looked like the 2nd generator section we have in the final game, except just a mirrored copy of it.

We know that only PC version has mod support and MCC dev support has dwindled (so that obviously getting those menus isn't a priority) thus it being a pc-only thing is logical. It's unfortunate, but

@@Ed_Snaider The title is likely to convince people (including myself, hence my comment) that it was MCC, not any specific port of it. It’s easy to think that a vague title applies to the entirety of the game while “The Halo 3 Beta Main Menus On MCC PC (Mod)” would’ve gotten that across before the video even started to ensure it reached the right audience. Cuz I don’t know about you, but when I see that title in the little notification on my phone, I get excited thinking it’s for the game, not the platform.

OG halo fans still play Xbox. I'm one of the few left. It was a lot fun back then nobody took anything serious back in the day when playing. We all played to have fun. Nobody cared about weapon balancing or frame rate 4k resolution Pc player's are the reason halo is dead and because of the increase of cheaters in games. Crossplay was a mistake. It was better just to keep it on console. We worked with what we had and we enjoyed every minute of it with are friends.
