I completely understand because I have healed from alot of my childhood traumas of everyone that was around me telling me and showing me that I wasn't enough. Ironically, my father's side is Japanese and it was a STRUGGLE being the only darkskinned grandchild to say the least. Sumi! Let's just talk about ALL the looks you served during this video. Omg it's definitely giving! I so love your style. I smiled through out this entire video❤❤❤ I can relate to you on soooooo many topics on here. With my period genrerally I'm always thinking “Am I the only one suffering with literally not wanting to do stuff… or suffering with Pms bloating cravings depression” etc…….. As far as going through like the emotions of being hurt by the ones who were suppose to be there for you.…. I experienced this with all of my parents (Including step parents) I've been overweight my entire life sooooo it was constantly embedded in my mind to “lose weight‘’ don't eat this don't eat that.…… I basically starved myself in my 20s and got down to a healthy weight and was still looking for a “good job” from my parents…….. I now am back up in weight in nursing school and working full time. I literally love the fact that you said “love yourself in every stage”. That's what I'm learning to do because I don't have much time to work out but I'm still eating well. I appreciate you so much for sharing because there's so many of us that can relate to you. Social media is soooooo saturated with this picture perfect lifestyle. YOU ARE SUCH ABEAUTIFUL PERSON and you make all of us (your Og followers) feel like we are not alone. 💕💕💕💕 much love

I was always bullied, name calling at school and my mother hurtful words, everyday for years really messed me up(depression&social skills) I looked at some "vintage" photos if me and I was just normal fine!! You are beautiful outside and soooooo much more beautiful inside. Your value doesn’t increase or decrease with weight. You are precious and NOTHING can change that. I know you’re working through it and already know all this, but I also want you to think of these positive affirmations of who YOU ARE in your comments when those negative thoughts try to infiltrate your mind. Vanna, I love you and your YT channel for years😘! Fitness tip I’ve been on my fitness journey ever since I had an emergency blood transfusion and hysterectomy in 2021 because of fibroids, I discovered so much along the way I discovered that I could achieve the same results in less time especially walking try the 12/3/30, walk at an incline of 12, speed 3mp for 30 minutes and during that cool down walk backwards to strengthen your core and back….Trust me you’ll feel like you’ve just walked up a steep hill. The Japanese rice sweet look very nice. Love the Zara set. Looks comfortable. My younger brother collapsed and passed away two months ago and he was 25. I’m older and I realized that I always took the role of older and responsible sister. It made me realize that I’ve been telling myself life is short for many years but haven’t been acting like it. For a person that loves being inside I’ve been outside more than I have in years. ❤

Came back because of the talk at the end…I have been through this too, things that people said to me ABOUT me when I was young stuck with me and followed me into adulthood too. But I learned that was not who I was. God showed me who I was and I’ve walked in THAT identity ever since. Thoughts still try to come up but I cast them down in Jesus’s name and keep pushing through. As I approach my 40th birthday next month, I'm embarking on a journey to truly love myself. Everything that's been said about body dysmorphia rings so true - no matter our size, we're constantly made to feel like we're not good enough. Sometimes, this stems from past trauma that's been passed down to us, and it can take a while to realize that it's not normal. To all the beautiful souls out there, remember that you are worthy of all that you desire, are inspired to be, or want in life. Let's stop dimming our lights for anyone else.❤❤❤❤

Hey Sumi 🙏 I have been binge watching on all of your vlogs, I love you so much. Yes, Fumi is doing her thing. As she would say, she's doing her fit, eating her salads, keeping it copacetic. I live and I love (in her beautiful gander laugh). You were speaking to my soul. "Grown" folks be talking so much mess. We were always taught to respect our elders. They really don't get the emotional damage they can do to a child. I have always struggled with weight & my skin. I can understand how people can go through years not speaking to certain family members. At my big age now, I also have to understand they were probably never shown grace too. And just the other night, I was watching Little Women on Hulu. I cry on every dramatic movie. I believe it's a remake on another vintage movie 🫶

I was born 10 lbs. and have never seen a slim day in my life. I'm close to 5'11" and close to 300 pounds. I LOVE every inch of me, but in my 50 years, there have been ups and downs. I understand how you feel. I have body dysmorphia really bad after losing over 100 pounds. Childhood trauma of any kind sticks with you. When I would tell people that is the reason I lack confidence in my appearance, they would say I should be past that by now.

Also some people are just miserable. When I was a teen my oldest brother called me fat and I was uglier than his then baby mother because I was defending my twin. Being drunk was an excuse. My second oldest brother called me a s*** after I started dating my first boyfriend at 19. He had girlfriends from primary school . Only my youngest brother never disrespected me like that. I was hurt for years until I realized they were jealous with how I took my time to experience life. Safe to say I don’t talk to them more than I need to.❤
