@@jaredwalls8170which is a form of metal that was popular in the 97-03 timeframe and also gaining a second life with kids coming up now not concerned with labels on their music. I find it hilarious kids saying fuck your opinions and saying we don’t give a shit what your opinions of creed , limp bizkit, ect are Good for them
The switch up at 2:54 is simultaneously buttery and filthy. This band knew how to tickle your eardrums in places you never even knew existed till you heard it and finally thought to yourself “Yeah that’s what was missing. I’m ok now.”
Wayne definitely was more aware about the world of dreams and non-materialistic realms. His music will always be an important part of my life, and it sucks that he's gone but he lives on through everyone who he's touched
I hope you are getting HYPED! I just saw them on July 9th in Pittsburgh and it was amazing. The frontman did such a humble and amazing job repping Wayne's memory. Enjoy the show!
I used to do a cyberpunk LARP, improv style when i was a teenager. I used this song when my character was loading guns for an upcoming battle. This was a core memory of my childhood.
This song reminds me Manhunt game. This tension, this dark and horror tone stuck in my head. And I think this track fits good for survive horror and gore games. Such thrilling to listen and see blood, gore at the same time. Feels so dark
+aw55550 Both are great songs, and this should've been included as well. I suppose the track and time limit was the factor and "Trance is the Motion" got the edge. This one is an earworm (in a good way), especially the guitar riffs later on which are instantly memorable.
I was just finna mention that i didnt know So Real Was Suppose To Be Or Was Recorded During the Wisconsin Death Trip and it was said trance is the motion took this song place
when the song came out i was 13 and i directly loved it.now i'm almost 30 and it's still awesome.great song.metal fans are true fans. R.I.P. wayne!!!
It’s nu metal but this is good stuff.

@OccumsChainsaw yeah that transition is disgusting. This track is 100% Static X and should’ve been on WDT…not sure where though.
Wayne might be gone but evil disco will live on.
Para siempre!!
No, wayne was evil disco, therefore if it dies nothing lives on.
His music will always live on@@germanst7003

Listened to this song when I was diffusing bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan! 4 tours before I got injured!
Thank you for your service and immaculate music taste. I can definitely see how this song's tension fit perfectly with your role.

The life, the dream, the rhythm.
Or the reason?

The reason. For a long time I thought he said. The life, the dream, So real. Which I like better imo haha.

Meh, it’s OK. I always just wished static X would rock a tiny bit harder. You know, like Limp Bizkit.
They got plenty of other songs that rock harder than Limp Bizkit bro!
i’m a massive bizkit fan but static rock way harder than them dude
