7X Series Part 3: Cleaning up the frame, picking axles

We cleaned and stripped the frame, found some rust in a rear corner.
Welded in new pieces, oiling and painting the frame.
Picking the axles from the 73, they are serviced and in good shape.
OME coils and shocks from that one too.
Radius arms were picked from the 70, hardware and everything is mint on the 70.
Steering box picked from the 73.

Yes, it's a LJ70 cruiser with the 2LT engine, coil springs all around.

Why the axle swap ? What fits? I have one.

The axles on the 73 was recently rebuilt, so took that whole powertrain from the 73 over to the 70 👍
