These videos are great! Ive been trying two nights so far and gotten up to 5 meters with the sideways stance. It can be frustrating to no end but when you finally get it you can feel it before the knife even hits. I want to get to trying the other styles as well but this style appealed to me visually the most i guess. The hardest part i thought was getting the stop right and the index acceleration. I learn fast by watching and these videos you've made are pure gold. Saves so much time and frustration.

This. I can actually hear the difference both at the release and at the hit. There is a ton of power in skanf, it is just difficult to learn

I applied your hour long video for 6 weeks and went from novice to reasonably competent, thanks to the clear and efficient explanation.
Thanks to this video, I learned this technique in an afternoon.
Thanks very much, best wishes from England

This is but one of your teachings that holds me spell bound. You make it look so incredibly easy I understand about muscle memory's and practice, practice, practice some more. I would be very happy if I were ever half as good as you are ,thank you again so very much.

Raymond Swingley thanks. If you are on Facebook you can join the instinctive knife thrower group.
And you can make videos and show me or in the group. Then you can get help.

Thank you very much. FS has the highest quality but is expensive. You can check throwingzone too. He also makes my arrows. Very beautiful, more affordable. Knives are made of Hardox. Very good, but not as tough as FS. I use just crap selfmade stainless steel knives.

@@samothchipmah2407 thank you for the information! I will absolutely check throwingzone!! My home made are a bit sketchy, but has done well in training ! I greatly value your responces and knowledge . I saved and was able to purchase one , and my first fs arrow In the mail now ! I hope to better my technique! I will keep watching and practicing every day ! Your technique is art in motion to watch! Look forward to your next tutorial.

In the Feldin technique, the knife leaves the hand in a vertical position, then rotates 90 degrees to land horizontally, head first in the target. With the Shank technique, does the knife always stay straight, pointing towards the target even at the point it leaves the hand? Thanks, Tom Tom!

Thank you. I am not sure which one i used there, but it is a small one which is not available. I have around 100 different selfmade designs. Where are you from? I know smith who can make it for you.

I like this style a lot, it is similar to what they use in chinese martial arts (of course without knife), the fa jin. Great explained, thank you

I like it also very much. More people told me about the relation to martial arts.

Great video. I think i have been doing this instead of no spin at 2 meter for some time. Are these knives 10"/25 centimeters?
