Wet-On-Wet Technique isn't as tricky, Even on a GRADIENT Background! |Beginner Painting

  • I filmed this video under strong lighting, which made the brightness a bit intense. To make it more comfortable for you to watch, I've adjusted the contrast/brightness/saturation a bit during editing, which potentially sacrifices a bit of vibrancy (it really was a pain lol). Hope that helps! 😊
The wet-on-wet technique can be both challenging and fun because we never know how the result will turn out. Sometimes it creates more natural results, saving our time and effort compared to hand-painting every detail. The amount of water on the paper and the dispersion level of the paints vary, which can also give us a surprise each time we paint.

Thank you for this EXCELLENT tutorial!! It was wonderful that you included the name of the colours you used (important for us beginners 😊) as many creators do not do this and it is frustrating. I look forward to your next videos as you have really inspired me. Loved the beautiful outcome ❤️👏✨

Beautiful, and your explanations are very helpful, even for non-beginners.
ETA, what is that piece of tape meant to do?

Is 150 gsm good for watercolor?
    I am just stating.

I recommend using 300gsm 100%cotton watercolor paper;) 300gsm paper is able to handle large amounts water, such as heavy washes and multiple layers of paint 🎨
