    A nice short yet information packed review of their newest offering. I know that Brian Barney and Todd Helms recommended these to me.
    With a limited budget (which is subjective to each person) I am debating on whether to get one size fits most pack or a day pack with a meat 🥩 shelf that I can strap my new tree saddle platform and sticks, then use it to haul meat 🍖 out of a deep and steep place if successful on a whitetail deer 🦌 hunt in West Virginia, PA or SE Ohio. Then one with more cubic inches for any future backpacking hunts out west.
    I know that many packs like this one offers different pack sizes that zip and strap on to the same frame.
    I did try the F1 frame at Sportsman’s Warehouse and it was okay feeling. Might have been the regular one and not the tall. I am 6’ 250 lbs

      I would get the 2500. Then if in the future you decide to go on a backpack hunt, you can get a load cell from eberlestock and add cubic inches by putting it in between the pack and frame

      Great suggestion! The 2500 is super versatile.

      I actually was able to get the Eberlestock F7 Kite 🪁 for $150 last year and saved $100. It’s a stand alone pack with its own harness. But can be attached to the F1 Mainframe. I then was blessed to be able to get the Vapor 7500 for $130 during their Spring Cleaning 🧹 sale to cover both my day hunt needs with the F7 Kite 🪁 and now if I am going on a multi day backcountry hunt I have the Vapor 7500.

    Great job on the video. Not to long but very informative. I’m pretty much sold on the f1 frame after watching several video reviews. Been trying to decide which pack to attach. Was looking at the vapor 5000. After watching your video it’s going to be hard to sell me something else!!! I’m wanting the setup for an elk hunt next year. I think this will do the job!!!

    So quick question about the tall or regular mainframe. I am 6 ft. I’d say I have a fairly long torso I’m curious what you would recommend I get the tall or the regular? Definitely looking at this route because of all the different options and configurations you can put in this frame.

    Are the hip belts the same as the just one if they are I’d like them to have a bit more padding.,so How’s the padding compares!!!!!! Thanks.

    • @EastmansHuntingJournals
      @EastmansHuntingJournals  2 роки тому

      Yes, they are the same, BUT Eberlestock offers a better hip belt you can swap out. I ran it this fall and it is a game changer to the pack! Here is a link to their site where they sell it: eberlestock.com/products/large-pad-replacement-hipbelt?_pos=1&_sid=b7bb4cce6&_ss=r

    What size does the first pack you show carrying an elk rack have? Looks like the size I want. Unsure wether to go for 2500 or 5000

      Hey Nathan, that was prior to the Vapor series but it is similar to the Vapor 5000.

    Currently I have the batwings for my Mainframe. I am trying to decide if it is worth it to go to the 5000 or use the 2500. What do you recommend?

    • @EastmansHuntingJournals
      @EastmansHuntingJournals  2 роки тому

      Great question. It really depends on the use. The 2500 is a great day pack or overnighter. The 5000 is perfect for 3-7 day trips and can be used effectively for day hunts once you're packed in to the backcountry.
