The frog in the bonus room is actually a hint, if you play the game seeing all the illustrations except the three involving Zera (talking to him outside the house, getting a drink at the ship's bar, and following the four Heroes on their quest) and read the journal twice (as you don't have enough events for the third set of pages), you will get a secret ending when you go home. There is also another bad ending. In a certain spot of the forest (near the spot with the Deltarune characters and the tree stump where you spar with Caina), Zera's manor can randomly appear. There's a room being prepared for a "special someone" and if you interact with the bed there enough times (I think it's 11 times), Yoki will go to sleep. There's also some other minor endings for going to sleep with a varying amount of journal pages and varying number of times you read the journal, but the main difference about those is just dialogue after the credits.
I see dwellers empty path wiki and, found out the girl in the real ending was named "sei". She comes from different world, she destroys other world (probably escaped chasm world) and she is probably Yoki's forgotten sister.
Temmie made a video called "Dwellers of the Mountain's Forest" 2 years ago, most of the characters are from there. And Yoki's name probably comes from Temmie's username, Tuyoki +Is there anyone who knows about the "Avoiding Zera" thing, is it a secret ending?

I recommend checking it out for yourself, might put up some theories on who Yoki is. Other than that, I'm happy you enjoyed it. Fun fact: That BEAST-Type character you encountered near your house has a random chance of appearing each time you enter that area, just like Zera's house which by the way again highly recommend checking even if it means you not showing it to us.

I've just rewatched the escape chasm video and i'm just spechless with how everything connects :0( I rewatched it without thinking it was connected , i was shocked with every little thing that was in the previous game ,now that i know this game '-')

Till she finally give up and sleep on it
the most weird part is how both games seem to be somehow tied by... sleeping? i know theres lots of connections and stuff but i have this weird feeling that the main theme is not what happens during the game, atleast not entirely just an assumption though, could not be that sure

The story so far (at least my theory ) : Theres 2 world, escaped chasm took place in one, Sei (probably) destroyed the world, and zera knows it, lonely girl escaped to the other world with the help of zera and turned into "woofy" (the wolf girl), losing her memory. Dwellers empy path took place in the second world. yoki lost her sister who is (probably) Sei, yoki is taken care of by charles but then charles ran away because of something. Remember Sei destroying a world? Yeah, sei is probably gonna destroy the other world soon and zera knows it. Zera then "prepares" yoki for it by putting her in dangerous situations. Extras : -zera summoned a frickin dragon to "prepare" yoki, which is defeated by yoki, aimottle, and claire (watch temmie's video about it (dwellers of the mountain forest)). The dragon actually lived and (probably) is the dragon in dwellers empty path -Sei dont actually want to destroy worlds, she is controlled against her will (thats why she begged the lonely girl to help her and yoki and also told yoki to run) -edit : the biggest one... IS...... *THE GIANT SNAKE INSIDE THE CAVE! IS IT MELODY!?! OH MY GOD! MELODY!!!!!!!!!!!* -edit : yes, im pretty sure the girl in the last cutscene with the eyes are indeed Sei This is all a theory, my head canon, and im pretty confident with it, but this still isnt official, so dont take what i said too seriously.
judging from that one book in the library, titled something like "angels and demons" that yoki doesn't feel like reading, how the holy light hurts her, that one random encounter saying she's just like them and how she seemingly has bat wings in some of the animations temmie has made, I believe Yoki is not a natural nor beast type, but rather a demon, as probably are Zera and Charles. somewhat further, I believe either Zera is one of those that came after charles, or is charles after the people that came after him got to him.
Empty Chasm and Dweller's Empty Path are connected to story of this game. Is the same creator. Temmie And i think Yoki and this lonely girl (wolfgirl) are sisters i guess.

For those who are curious, I was watching a video and then I remembered the game One-Shot (which I still haven't watched a playthrough of...), and I immediately remembered Merg! And now here I am. so this is just a random thought that popped up in my mind, Isn't there a cutscene in Escaped Chasm where someone asks the lonely girl for help? The one who asked for help said, "Please save her. Please . . . help me." Maybe it was Yoki or Yoki's sister (who I believe is the person at 52:20) . It really makes sense with the "Run away Yoki" ( 52:20 ) scene and the Dragon's Warning about what Zera is planning and what Yoki is about to face. Yoki is probably getting into trouble . . . (i really hope she doesn't, but things just won't sort themselves out) Although I think it would make more sense if it was Yoki's sister who asked for help. Because in the "Please help me" scene the one who asked for help had wings, seemed sad and then became -evil- scary just like 52:20 also the scary dude in lonely girl's dreams might just have been Zera since he is evil. And after all, the lonely girl is supposed to stay connected with Yoki's world whenever she is dreaming, and we see that cutscene from Escaped Chasm when the lonely girl goes to bed, right? so does it make sense? Edit: I think it's Sei, she's Yoki's sister, i think, makes real sense.

If i remember correctly, the dreams are : -school -sei asking lonely girl to help "her" (probably yoki) -yoki Also, i dont think zera is evil, i think hes chaotic neutral. You know how hes talking about "preparing" yoki for something? Ok so remember that jumpscare ending in Escape Chasm if you don't pick up the doll and it has that werid yet terrifying demon monster that has all them warm colors (Red, Orange, Yellow) and how in Zera was also show as warm colors to contrast in the game I think there might be a connection. And if I'm right that jumpscare monster is Yoki's sister and Zera knows something about it because explains why he's been targeting her specifically with those bad nightmares and training her for a purpose since she has immense power that can used for evil purposes. ZERA did defeat the last dark lord for some reason and considering that the character Charles is running from his past and he dosen't want Yoki to get involved with I'm betting it's got some tie-in with the deaths of both the King and Queen. Like assassins or maybe something else entirely but I want anyone to bring back feed back since I'm verry interested in the entire story of this and the next game!

OMG When is the 3rd part coming outtttt ALSO I have a theory that the 3rd part will actually be the first part, then this the second, and then the 1st the last, heres why It seems that the last part will be red themed, and this is green themed, and the first was blue themed. It is like a reverse RGB (Red Green Blue) that is the colours of a pixel. Also the first parts graphics are higher quality so that means that Escaped Chasm would be published in a later console. The story so far (at least my theory ) :
Theres 2 world, escaped chasm took place in one, Sei (probably) destroyed the world, and zera knows it, lonely girl escaped to the other world with the help of zera and turned into "woofy" (the wolf girl), losing her memory.
Dwellers empy path took place in the second world. yoki lost her sister who is (probably) Sei, yoki is taken care of by charles but then charles ran away because of something.
Remember Sei destroying a world? Yeah, sei is probably gonna destroy the other world soon and zera knows it. Zera then "prepares" yoki for it by putting her in dangerous situations.
Extras :
-zera summoned a frickin dragon to "prepare" yoki, which is defeated by yoki, aimottle, and claire (watch temmie's video about it (dwellers of the mountain forest)). The dragon actually lived and (probably) is the dragon in dwellers empty path
-Sei dont actually want to destroy worlds, she is controlled against her will (thats why she begged the lonely girl to help her and yoki and also told yoki to run)
-edit : the biggest one... IS...... *THE GIANT SNAKE INSIDE THE CAVE! IS IT MELODY!?! OH MY GOD! MELODY!!!!!!!!!!!*
-edit : yes, im pretty sure the girl in the last cutscene with the eyes are indeed Sei
This is all a theory, my head canon, and im pretty confident with it, but this still isnt official, so dont take what i said too seriously.

judging from that one book in the library, titled something like "angels and demons" that yoki doesn't feel like reading, how the holy light hurts her, that one random encounter saying she's just like them and how she seemingly has bat wings in some of the animations temmie has made, I believe Yoki is not a natural nor beast type, but rather a demon, as probably are Zera and Charles.
somewhat further, I believe either Zera is one of those that came after charles, or is charles after the people that came after him got to him.
Merg is just such a great youtuber if i ever made a game i would put a merg easter egg in ... hey you heard nothin...
Empty Chasm and Dweller's Empty Path are connected to story of this game.

Man, I wish I could experience this game for the first time again.. It was really nice and quite calming! I'm definitely going to watch this playthrough again in the future. I might as well re-watch Escaped Chasm later!

so this is just a random thought that popped up in my mind,
Isn't there a cutscene in Escaped Chasm where someone asks the lonely girl for help? The one who asked for help said, "Please save her. Please . . . help me." Maybe it was Yoki or Yoki's sister (who I believe is the person at 52:20) . It really makes sense with the "Run away Yoki" ( 52:20 ) scene and the Dragon's Warning about what Zera is planning and what Yoki is about to face. Yoki is probably getting into trouble . . .
(i really hope she doesn't, but things just won't sort themselves out)
Although I think it would make more sense if it was Yoki's sister who asked for help. Because in the "Please help me" scene the one who asked for help had wings, seemed sad and then became -evil- scary just like 52:20 also the scary dude in lonely girl's dreams might just have been Zera since he is evil. And after all, the lonely girl is supposed to stay connected with Yoki's world whenever she is dreaming, and we see that cutscene from Escaped Chasm when the lonely girl goes to bed, right?

Well that something is probably sei (which i think is the one who destroys/accelerate the decay of the world where lonely girl is from, and im sure its against her will, but thats just my theory, A GA-)
Edit : well i guess zera DID summon a massive dragon that destroys yoki's house just to "prepare" her, but its for the good (i think)

Ok so remember that jumpscare ending in Escape Chasm if you don't pick up the doll and it has that werid yet terrifying demon monster that has all them warm colors (Red, Orange, Yellow) and how in Zera was also show as warm colors to contrast in the game I think there might be a connection. And if I'm right that jumpscare monster is Yoki's sister and Zera knows something about it because explains why he's been targeting her specifically with those bad nightmares and training her for a purpose since she has immense power that can used for evil purposes. ZERA did defeat the last dark lord for some reason and considering that the character Charles is running from his past and he dosen't want Yoki to get involved with I'm betting it's got some tie-in with the deaths of both the King and Queen. Like assassins or maybe something else entirely but I want anyone to bring back feed back since I'm verry interested in the entire story of this and the next game!

ALSO I have a theory that the 3rd part will actually be the first part, then this the second, and then the 1st the last, heres why
It seems that the last part will be red themed, and this is green themed, and the first was blue themed. It is like a reverse RGB (Red Green Blue) that is the colours of a pixel. Also the first parts graphics are higher quality so that means that Escaped Chasm would be published in a later console. But this is just a theory...
