2023 Sports Cinematography Reel // Juan Morales Creative

The last year has been one of the most formative and incredible adventures of my life, and I decided it was finally about time to create my first demo reel to showcase some of the moments I was incredibly fortunate enough to capture.
A few months ago, I heard the term “The Process is greater than the Outcome”, and that phrase has been stuck to me since, and something I really noticed about the progression of my work while editing this reel.
This last year was truly all about embracing and enjoying the process, versus in the past, I was always concerned with the outcome first. Because of that mindset, I had the most fun I’ve ever had in my entire life doing my job as a sports creative.
So blessed and thankful to have gotten to cover so many incredible events, and to tell stories with countless talented people.
A big thank you goes out to all my colleagues at the NHL for believing in me once again at major events, to everyone in the sports creative industry who gave me an opportunity this year, and to all the people in my circle who were in my corner through the ups and downs of 2023.
