In my opinion for budget it's best to get an old high end model on resale than a new low end
to be honest, it is harder to find these models
Gotta love how Josh is probably the only soccer gear reviewer with his feet planted on the ground when it comes to soccer gear pricing and best-for-your-money stuff. Many just say "oh this is better, more expensive, blah blah" not taking into consideration other factors. Keep up these videos, please!

Really good series Josh. AS far as recommendations go I guess you could fluxuate between price budgets and maybe include some of those on sale shoes you share in your deals video. Maybe even do seperate Futsal and full pitch videos since you've been doing a lot of great IC shoe reviews lately. Thank you for your content, this is the first channel I come to before making a purchase and it's almost always spot on.

For the ball you could get a $35 Nike strike ball or $24 adidas takedown Telstar which is just a Telstar without the chip. Lots of other good Nike/Adidas balls. Might be a better option!

Cardboard shin guards are good for emergency when u forgot to bring yours.. Even in field hockey lol
I recommend just cutting the sock so you just have the sleeve end then put any socks you want then just put the sock sleeve over

For buying cleats, I would recommend buying older models on sale. You get a better shoe for cheaper
I have had the same shin pads for 12 years. I got them when I was five and now Im seventeen. They're Uhlsport. Don't know the exact name but I've owned several other pairs of shinpads and none of them have come close to the ones I have

Hey! Great video! I’m starting to get into soccer (just started by watching the Netflix Juventus documentary and have started watching MLS) and want to start playing it. Can you do another video like this but with more current gear? Or what would you suggest in place of the ones in the video? Same price point - $150.
I have the shin guards and I gotta say they are pretty bad, they bend easily ans don't take a lot of the blow when you're hit. Just spend an extra few pounds on a better one, I think there are better options at a slightly higher price. It's important, they do reduce injury if you're playing against a rough opponent

I got vapor 12 pros for 80 dollars a ball for 30 dollars and shin pads for 15 dollars already had some long socks
it should have been the adidas x pro shingaurds since they have super good protection and come with a compression sleeve for only 20 dallors

Phelon 3 v ligeria 4 which do you prefer in your opinion?
I personally prefer the Ligera, mainly because I prefer the feel of a more padded leather upper. They're both excellent options at their respective price ranges though. It just depends on what you like.

The Onda is not as good as the other two. As far as which one you should buy, that depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
