There's been a ton of hype around the unique design of the Nike Flight Ball, which is set to be used across various professional leagues this upcoming season, but what about the rest of the line? The top-end Flight ball retails for the high price of $160, with the cheaper alternatives being the $60 Club Elite, the $30 Strike, the $20 Pitch and the $12 Mini. What are the differences between them? That's exactly what I go over in this video as we discuss the entire line of 2020/21 Nike Flight balls from the most expensive option, to the cheapest. Which version would you buy?

Hey Jim I was wondering if you could create a video of good "budget" ball options!
I buy the nike “magia” every year
Up!
@@user-pk4dk8fx9n is it good for turf?
Anything from select is really good as well
Select Número 10
160 for a ball is absurd , I really wish they were 100 , even 60 for a ball is a lot but then again it is the best of the best...and has ACC🙏
Thanks to Jib theyre slightly cheaper, but yeah... the price ain't for everyone
the correct retail price for a top of the line match ball should be between 30-40$. that's about 3 times its manufacturing price. there are companies that produce match balls similar in materials and manufacturing process which are being sold for 30-35$. let's say you also pay for the brand, so 50$ would be the most you can honestly ask for a sphere filled with air.
@@cristiandemirel1918 drop some examples and recommendations for around 10-20 thanks
@@aspiregr8 In Europe Decathlon sells a good match ball made by one of their companies called KIPSTA F 900. It costs about 25$ and is certified FIFA QUALITY PRO.
Check out NGA soccer, they have a great match ball for under $100
160 for a ball? Surely comes with life insurance no deflate policy
They probably focused on the pricing rather than the technology 😂
Wait... I have the $160 one but i got it from JD for $35
@@astarreditz probs a fake
@@conkar7663 dude it’s jd sports lol
I have the 160 one but I got it for 30 in Dick’s Sporting Goods
There’s also a Nike Flight Club ball that sits between the Strike and Club Elite and is around for 35 $. A good budget option!
i bought a 35 dollar nike strike ball from academy and so far its amazing, it performs really good and hasnt failed me, i think its a really good deal and better than alot of the balls on that price range
None of my mates understand spending money on a match ball and always poke fun. Every time we play they go for my ordem match ball. But, "tHe BaLl DoEsN't MaKe A dIfErEnCe." 😂
You'll understand when you takes free kick lol
Need more videos like these about footballs .in depth differences with play tests if possible .
I have the adidas euro pass match ball from 2008 which I have used regularly and still use it in 5v5 on artificial turf or just general training . The ball is still in perfect shape holds air as it did from day one and no issues. I bought an adidas mls replica ball in may of last year and haven’t used it anywhere near as much as the 2008 one and it’s in bits, material peeling off doesn’t hold air for more than 2 days etc. I payed 80€ on eBay for the euro pass match ball and 20€ for the adidas mls replica. The match ball if you can get on sale is definitely worth every penny as it’s still in perfect condition.
There was so much opportunity for FlightReacts jokes lmao
Look at curry man
Keep up the good content🔥
Can’t disagree with your review, but I’d add for size 3 and 4 balls for youth leagues and teams, there are no other consistent, durable, and affordable balls on the market than the Strike line. I have some 3 years old, used 3-5 times a week on grass and turf, and they still weigh the same, play the same, and a quick scrub in the sink and they look almost new!!
The way he said balls tho great vid jemimah
Amazing vid as usual
*So how does the Nike flight perform? You told us you was going to test it and tell us in a future video how it performs, in your first video of the ball.*
Great video Bob!
Excellent review.. Thanks a lot ⚽️
Ngl that flight joke went over my head 😏😏
Just a note for people trying to decide whether or not it’s worth spending the money on the high end ball. I’ve had about 50 soccer balls ranging from $10 balls to match balls and if you can find the money then a match ball is 100% worth the investment. Along with feeling more premium and being much more consistent, the big factor for me is the durability. Every takedown ball I’ve bought has fallen apart within less than two years whereas every match ball I’ve gotten over the past 10 years is still in almost perfect condition structurally. If you can, spend the money and get a match ball.
haha he said balls that funny
Hee hee hoo hoo
Vewy funny
that is quite funny
Great video! Might you have one on Select balls? I know that they have a wide variety of options.... just want to know what the difference is between them. 🤙🏼 cheers!
It would be cool for a video topic is about the best football pump, intermediate, on a budget and expensive options of football pumps.
Strange that they went away from fuse welding the $60 ball. The Magia balls in last years lineup had very few differences from the Merlin.
What if u kick it in a bush and lose it will it have a warranty since u paid 160
nice reviews jordan
The Club Elite on Nike website is different. It looks glued and has 4 panels as FIight.
Hey jasuke , serious question, is “what’s up” a greeting or a question
Both.
Lol jasuke means corn with cheese and milk in my country
Kautsar Eru Cakra LoL I just did sasuke with a j, from naruto. But that’s pretty funny
I just got the winter edition and I’m excited to get back into football let’s gooo! Need some astroturfs it’s now been like 15 years
Josh can you discuss the Nike Magia, its FIFA Approved and part of Nike's current lineup, but doesn't seem to get any recognition despite being FIFA Approved.
I have a Liverpool Nike strike one haven’t tested it or yet but I’m excited to test it any things I should worry about before using it ?
can you please do a video on the nike gt indoors? i have the react gato and I like them however I preferred my Nike Hypervenom Phelon III (could just be because I had them longer and/or I preferred the fit) the gt look like it would be the best of both worlds
Jose when are you going to do a play test with the flight ball?
Hey Jehovah I got a question about the grip socks from your previous video. Is there grip on the inside of the sock? If not, whats the reasoning behind it? Thanks!
I still cant afford any of them
that’s just tuff
Rubber band ball
Haha when
How is that even possible? Do you eat food?
You watching this video you can afford a ball
In 2023, the Club Elite is WAY better made than that year’s version. And it’s Quality Pro certified by FIFA.
I am torn between buying an Adidas top training ball, a Nike strike ball, and a select numero 10. Which do you recommend.
Hey job what would you say is the best first takedown ball of all brands
Hey josh I was wondering if I can order the new blue and white official match ball already in the us
Hi Josh, can you weigh them? I'm wondering if there is any difference in weight. Or maybe compare Nike, Adidas and Select balls in weight will be good as well. Thank you.
Hi Joomba,
I was wondering if they've updated the club elite model of this ball recently?
I bought one of these because it was 50% off on their website, but it doesn't have any visible stitches at all, and it says "Fifa Quality Pro" on the tag.
Kind regards,
an old VujoJosh subscriber
Hey Josh, is it possible to tell good quality balls from bad ones while shopping for one online? Because clearly the pricing and the brand name alone don't give the full picture
As a previous and current owner of Nike matchballs, I may be buying the Flight at some point when it becomes a little cheaper. Although I gotta say I'm disappointed at my previous two matchballs from Nike that I had, Ordem 2 and 3. Both lasted for only about 1-2 years and then went broken. I know it depends where you used the balls and I think both of my Ordems went broken because they hit a rock too many times. Still, I think they should've lasted for more. I then bought the Ordem 5 a few years back end it's still fine. It's the surface in all those Ordems which is really not the best for hard conditions. And with that I mean if there's rocks or rocky are close to the pitch you're using the ball. I don't think my balls went broken just by using them in a match. Just for example, I think that Select Brillant Super is a more durable ball than any Nike matchball. And also the Puma La liga Final 2 (La liga matchball of season 2019/20). In the end, I've always lowed my Nike marcballs. Yes they're expensive, but it feels good to kick a professional football 💪🏻💯. There's sometimes discounts in Finnish sportstores where they sell marcballs for 50-80€ and I think it's an ok deql. Thanks for the video from Finland.
Thanks Josh 👍
Please make more ''Ball line Comparisons''
Nike Flight 3D micro texture makes all the difference in rain/wet/snow. I have not played before with a ball which touch/feel or rather grip would be so close to dry conditions.
The Flight could be bought for like 65$ (in "generic" colours - yellow/blue/orange with a Serie A stamp or Tinkoff Premier Liga stamp) back in January in Europe but it is back into 130's.
UPDATE:
A bubble formed on the ball - returning the ball for a refund :(
12345, is that a pentagon...
THAT IS A PENTAGON!!!
Good evening Jahseh, I was wondering if next time you do the SR4U deals. Would you mind categorizing the AG from the FG so its easier?
Can you do the same type of video with the Champions League knockout stage ball?
Thank you for the information becauce when I knucleball the Ball it just curve
Hey Josh, I'm trying to buy the Pure socks but i'm unable to get it. I live in Singapore but apparently it says it does not ship to Singapore.. WHY!? :(
Hey Jim I was wondering if you could go a motivational video
Josh, I don't know if I'm right, but UA-cam is not sending emails with the new videos
I always buy an older model for around 40€, just got the merlin from 2 years a go, 160€ is insane
I don't know were you live, but if you have access to Decathlon, try their KIPSTA F900 match ball, which is FIFA QUALITY PRO for only 25$. you'll not be disappointed!
Saw that $160 ball at the Nike outlets , passed on that and then saw the Strike ball behind the counter for $25 but had a coupon so came up to $15 😂even though it is a bright pink , looked red inside but a ball is a ball color wise 🤷🏻♂️
Hey Bro, Can you do a video on good budget hard ground balls...??
You should review a Mikasa FT-5 ball
I just got one for 70 bucks at the nike outlet store. Cant wait to try it out tomorrow.
OMG. That Flight joke wins best worst joke of the year. And that is quite hard considering Jay Mike´s efforts.
Yes please make a budget soccer balls video
Please add timestamps
6:37 Club Elite...this doesn't seem to be the Club Elite. I have a Magia, the previous ball at this price tier and it has fused panels. The other reviews I've seen of the Club Elite seem to have fused panels as well.
Hey Josh, I just rewatched this video after I bought the Premier League Club Elite and noticed the ball you show as the Club Elite is different than the Premier League Club Elite! In the video you describe the Club Elite as having 12 panels and stitched however the Premier League Club Elite that I have in hand is a four panel construction and it is bonded versus stitched panels. 🤔
I just got mine too and saw the exact same thing!!!
@@oscarperez6982 and it's interesting because in the video the ball that Josh shows just says "Nike Club" on the ball not Elite thus Josh puts it " * Club Elite" subtitled on the screen. Also theNike Premier Club Elite we have say "Fifa Quality Pro", not "FIFA quality" like the "Nike Club" ball he shows in the video!
Weird I have a Nike club elite ball that is not hand stitched, its fused like the match ball. And it has a Fifa quality pro stamp. It just doesn't have ACC.
Hi, a question I have the nike flight ball but I can't find the space to put air in it, someone knows something
If La Liga stuck with this one...the high visual variation it wouldve looked real nice with a yellow/red colorway
Is this the same ball their using in the gold cup right now 2021
Anyone else notice that his club elite ball is different? I got the Premier League color of the Club Elite ball from Dick's Sporting Goods and mine has FIFA Pro certification, fuse welding and only 4 panels...
May we have a review of every single mini ball you can find
You can find match balls for less from previous seasons. And yes they do make a big difference in the touch and overall play of the the game. Until you’ve played with match balls you just don’t know.
Bro no they don’t 💀 I’ve played with both😂
i've played with 160 dollar balls and with an adidas takedown 120ish dollar ball, it's not a huge difference between the two.
It is worth going to the 50 dollar price point but other than that idk if i'd tell people it's worth spending more than that. the second take-down that's still over $100 is better if you really pay attention but not enough to be twice the price and i don't believe in chasing marginal gains with way more money.
Arsenalfanatic09 you don’t need to spend retail on match balls you can find them for $70-100. Not only that Select makes match balls that are less than the big name brands. Personally I prefer the Adidas Champions League match balls.
Edgar Romero Toe-May-Toe, Tomato.
I’ve found the take downs feel too squishy when passing and striking, the finish on them is generally slippery, and their flight when say switching the play from winger to winger just isn’t very true or good. It doesn’t have the firm feel proper match balls do either.
@@edgarromero6210 dude I just spent 6 weeks in lockdown at my parents place, and the only balls I had were in the 30 bucks price range. I realised so quickly that my expensive footballs were actually worth it. Mind you, I never actually spent the asking price of the ball.
Comparison video predator 20.1 vs phantom gt elite
I always bought a 35$ and under ball, and tbh I really like all of the balls. It’s not really a big difference from the 160$ balls for performance. Also bc I’m broke😁, but I have played with a match ball
Hey Josh when can we have another sale for boots soccer season is about to start 🙃
Hey Josh, can you ask Nike to re-release the Aerrow ii match ball? They might listen to you 😁
What’s the name of the white ball? I know the material difference gives it the Flight or Strike tag, but what’s the name of the all white design that has no EPL or Serie markings? Thanks.
Hey guys i have a serious question and i couldn’t find any threads about the topic. Could different balls from different leagues affect the player and team’s performance? Like lets say PL and CL balls feel quite different but CL ball feels similar to La liga ball thus advantage to the La liga team? Or is it just not possible?
More ball reviews please
Where can you get the nike flight ball from
How did you get the club ball elite that’s stitched?? That ball looks like the Nike flight strike ball, not the club one. The club one comes in only one colorway
Is the nike mercurial ball or the nine strike ball better
Does the Pure Grip Socks has BCC ?
Can you do this on the adidas range?
Does the cheaper size 5 ball look bigger than all the others or just me?
Pls do one for unifornia balls
Hey jon why don’t u make a video of best soccer balls to buy in 2020 if you haven’t already
Hey Jim I want to get a great size 4 ball for my son what do u recommend? I can't find the Nike Flight ball in Size 4...is it made?
Used one like 30 min ago, it plays way differently than it looks. Reminds me of a volleyball
The Club Elite ball that was used in the video was a little misleading. The Club elite balls that we use at my club are the Black and Gold ones. It is heat pressed with no stitching and is more similar to the $160 ball. Idk if the ball used was a prototype or the wrong ball but the ones we use are 60 and are much higher quality. So the ball is better than it seems on this video.
It's definitely not great compared to previous Nike balls at that price point.
Soccer Reviews For You - Yes, but look at the black and gold Nike club elite online for 60$. It looks a lot different from the one shown on the video. It’s on Nikes website along with others.
Soccer Reviews For You it has no stitching and is heat press and made of different materials
For me I prefer a 32 panned classic construction but I really like the design of this ball both functionally and cosmetically.
For me, I certainly agree with you on the subject of functionality; I find the ball to be quite interesting as well as being intrigued by the science behind it. However, I find the actual appearance of the ball to be a bit, "outlandish", per se.
I've alway wanted a ball with the original Telstar black and white panels that is actually good to play. It´s a shame how only cheap ball look like that.
Once upon time there was "FIFA Quality A" and "FIFA inspected". Don't know when it changed but there's been two FIFA badges for footballs for more than 12 years.
Very cool video Johnny B. Goode
They had 2 certification before too - FIFA APPROVED and FIFA INSPECTED.
That's correct. The FIFA inspected thing is relatively new as well though. I was talking way back 10 years ago, there was only one certification. At least as far as I'm aware. FIFA "Quality" without the "Pro" is the new FIFA "Inspected". Meaningless.
Anybody know what the red boots with the yellow tick in the background is called ?
I want order one ball how cant I do please help

it was.

Hey Bro-sh, wondering where you would rate the Nike Incyte and similar past match balls in the Select soccer ball line up. It would be interesting to have a soccer ball tier list across your favorite brands. Thanks.
The Incyte is still an amazing ball. I'll always be a fan of the more traditional design and construction of a ball like that.
@@Soccerreviewsforyou I've always thought the T90 Tracer, Seitiro, Maxim and Incyte were all very similar. Is that actually the case? I try to pick them up on Ebay whenever I find one under $50.
Thought I could find balls reviews only on other types of sites
