- I made this video because I want to show the capabilities of Symbian devices. Being slightly annoyed for seems everyone else does this type of videos just for nostalgia value. I wanna show that's those devices are still very capable in their own right, and they are very funny to play with.
I personally never abandoned Symbian platform. I still use it as my main phone - my pocket PC, and I wanna great everyone who does the same.

@@wehrniet Haha I've E6 as well, it's another interesting phone. The E73 was made only in the USA I think but many unlocked were sold by third party. I'm not sure

I have a T-Mobile E61 and when I apply all patches I have two red icons for both InstallServer and Open. I have followed all steps
That's weird. Did you have access to C/Sys/Bin folder?
@@wehrniet No access is denied and the bin folder cannot be created.
Man.. I've been fighting to grasp the main point.. my problem now is INSTALL SERVER, LOL.
@@alaazouaoui8202 Looks like you forgot to extract archive "tmquarantine" into the C disk. Next step you have to use Mobile Security to restore all quarantine files. After that Rom Patcher should be working well. All files are in the link down below.

How it's possible to access secured pages on the internet with old Symbian phones? When I try to connect to HTTPS wepages (so almost all of them nowadays), the integrated browser as well as Opera tells me that secured connection cannot be made...

how do i connect it to wlan internet?
If you have a wifi in your home. Go to settings, connection, access points, new access point. There you can create a new access point based on your wifi connections. Otherwise, you can choose your access point just by starting to browser the internet. Best with an opera mini. Just choose "Search for WLAN".

Some of the apps I used on E61 will work on E6, and other Symbian Belle devices, but not all. I will give you a link with some apps that I know will work on E6. I didn't see ngage 2.0, that phone can't run it?
Maybe so, but I never managed to do it. I remember long time ago I managed to run NGAGE 2.0 it on Nokia 5500, with a 208x208 screen. I just can't remember how I did it.
@@wehrniet It can, you just need the right files for symbian 9.1, unlike 9.2 where almost all N-Gage installers work, only certain, older ones work on 9.1. I can share the ones that worked on my N93, and might try on E61i that I have later.
