      I feel the same way. I was watching people resign and the political heat turn up and I was like, "wait what did he do for it to be THIS bad???" I was expecting he attempted an insurrection or something...

      @@dr-tse Boris won the 2019 election single handedly. He was bigger than the party, but he neglected his campaign promises. The scandals would be minor details if he'd just wasn't such a lousy and indecisive leader.

      Unfortunately Boris Johnson has always been a liar, cheat, dishonest and rotten to the core, and much of what has gone on still hasn't been divulged, but it is known now that he was a huge risk to the security of the UK and a lot of fraud was committed also, and it will take a lot of years to overcome every bit of damage he has done

    As an American I’m envious that the people could bring down a man like this. While for us in America, we can’t do the same for politicians that have done much worse, yet still manage to get away with it.

      1) UK is a parliamentary democracy; and 2) UK has no written constitution. Thus, the majority of the majority of the legislative body may act at will, including tossing aside the leader of that faction.

    One word: Integrity. Even Bojo the Clown's signature success Brexit was purely a way for him to gain power. Before he backed Brexit, he famously wrote two articles advocating both Leave or Remain and rapidly made a decision which way would give him personal advancement. He also said that a "Hard Brexit" was a million-to-one-against chance - then ended up enacting a horribly damaging diamond hard Brexit. He will go down in history as a disgraceful liar with no credibility.

The existing Brexit deal is a complete and total severance of all ties to the EU to the point of demolishing the Northern Ireland Protocol which leaves an unsolved disaster.       Boris was never 100% pro Brexit. He used the vote leave campaign as a bid to challenge David Cameron and replace him as prime minister (which he denied). And when leave actually won (which he never expected) he tried to seize power, but was kneecapped by Michael Gove. Then when Theresa May became PM,he constantly undermined her from the shadows. When Theresa lost her majority it made him even bolder. He cast doubt over her leadership and courted revolts until she resigned, leaving PM wide open for him. The media documented this extremely well.
      It’s never been about Brexit, it’s always been about Boris.

      It's called 1st world problems where these little petty mistakes are covered in media and are talked about like huge catastrophic issues while many other poorer countries in the world have real challenging issues like feeding their population and providing quality education to children.
      I hope some day people in the UK actually open their eyes up to the world and actually see for themselves that there are other issues that is worth looking into and dealing with and not just these stupid government christmas parties during lockdown. By the way, I'm half British half Vietnamese and I've had exposure from both societies and cultures

    the video didnt elaborate on the final blow imo. boris considered placing an mp in a high government role, was told about the mp’s accusations of sexual assault beforehand but followed through with the appointing. then when he got backlash he fired him, pretended that he didnt know even though people had told him.

      Trillions of minutes? 1 trillion minutes is about 2 million years. WSJ videos get around 200 thousand views each. So with your logic each person who watches this video will spend 9.5 years on it, or they will watch it 715,000 times.
      It won't save trillions of minutes.

      There's only a small proportion of the UK that think like that but they happen to be the ones that vote the most. For example if more young people had bothered to come out and vote in the referendum the results would have been different.

    Boris did a good job as a Mayor of London, but as a prime minister he messed up big time.. the PM Tittle went in to hes head and he completely ignored the voters.. good buy Boris.

      as a londoner he was also an awful mayor. Basically none of the projects he takes credit for (the Olympics, 'Boris' bikes etc.) were actually created by him. He closed down police stations across London and made TFL worse, only subsequently being improved by Sadiq Khan, and he wasted millions of public money on sweet nothing e.g. the garden bridge that went nowhere
