You were holding the guitar correctly at the start Guitar chord boxes and tablature have the lowest (thickest string) at the bottom of the box, and the highest (thinnest) string at the top. This is meant to simulate you looking downwards at the guitar neck while holding the guitar (the strings will be in the same order).
@@servin_goose316 Yes true, luckily I didn't have enough practice that the song paused so much while I tried to figure out the notes. So it should be fine.

Ohh I see, that is helpful. I was really confused when I first started using it. That makes sense now why it was that way.
