Great video. I flew from EWR to MUC and onwards to ICN in First Class. We were on the A340 on both legs. On the MUC-ICN let, my partner and were the only ones in the cabin and it was by far the best in-flight experience I have ever had. We were severely delayed out of MUC due to a snow storm and we sat on the tarmac for over 3 hours so the crew broke out the caviar and incredible champagne. After dinner, they made up a double bed in the center section. A memorable experience.

Great offering on their First Class. We've only tried their Economy for long haul flights thus far, but can't wait to try the higher classes as well! Awesome video! ✈
As great as the review is, you should „blur out“ all other customers your filming inside (private property) - so not in public. Especially inside the lounge and the plane (the mother and the baby for example). Usually people in lounges just like to relax, have a meal - you know what I mean - and the infant + mother, nobody needs to know exactly how they look. Anything else was really great, especially your way of just using cinematogrophy combined with subtitles - excellent. That is very good, as many “reviewers” overall just like to show themselves. If you didn’t know, terminal D and E at IAH are supposed to form a single terminal (which they already are) but they are still being renovated and redesigned to accommodate more planes and passengers. I recently flew out of IAH and walked thru terminal D and it was definitely interesting.
@@lesiu69 cabin layout does not need to cater to infants. The majority of infants are lap babies and simply sit on their parents lap. Yes some offer bassinets but the majority of infants are sitting on laps

I took this flight a few years back but it was on an A380. Business Class. The crew that served us that flight was top drawer as well. Would certainly fly Lufthansa again.

Thanks great video - haven't viewed this channel before but enjoyed it. Haven't flown first in Lufthansa but have experienced First in BA in the nose of a 747, loved it! Very immersive experience with the noises of the nose gear especially when it retracts. Got to be honest whilst this looks good the privacy you get from an Emirates first suite beats this in my opinion in either A380 or 777, was on the new 777 DXB to STN on Sunday and thats completely enclosed

One of my favorite 1st Class choices ... the 747-8i is my favorite aircraft nowadays, and both Lufthansa and Korean Air offer a superb experience, on the ground and in the air!
Next time try if you can Singapore Airlines. There you will see what it means to fly in style. Once on board someone from the crew will pick you up from the entrance door and guide you to your seat. So you don't have to ask where seat 3A is.
This was an excellent & well-produced review, which I hadn’t seen before. You have to hand it to the Germans - their attention to onboard service is rarely eclipsed. Oh, by the way, it’s “witty”, not “whitty”… small point 😊.

I did few times and will do another Fra to SFO this coming September 11th, when back from my vacation. What I remember may not be the best comment but... the flight attendant said to word for word " I am sorry mr. .... we don't have spaguetti on this flight" My last name is Italian, and so, I thought that was somewhat unpleasant, it's like saying sorry sir, we don't have rice on this flight cause I am Korean or Japanese or something, I thought that was not cool.... beside that, same all same, reason why I am taking this flight is because of the caviar and the fact that the carpet is made in such a way that it is nice when anyone walks on it... does not make noise...

In all honesty, first class passengers should be welcomed at the door and personally led to their seats. Worst onboard welcome I’ve seen reported in a review yet. But nice that the captain came down to meet the cabin.
@Dr Weirdgloves We flew BA 1st Class in 2017 and everything about the flight oozed elegant care with attention to every detail and a lightheartedness about the flight crew. I'll never understand what Skytrax saw in Lufthansa that brought about a 5-star rating, while downgrading Turkish to 3-stars. But I've flown both and I can say Skytrax no longer carries weight in our opinion of which airline to fly.

When it happened to me on MH and there were 2 children I noticed before take-off I requested to be put on another carrier and can be done on full fare ticket and was easily done I believe family was Airline staff.

It is so sad, that Most of the Airlines are not Interested in having this Exceptionally~Divine Aeroplane in their Fleet of Commercial Aircraft!!!!! I've never flewn in Lufthansa's first class because i can't pay 12.000,- € for a long haul flight. If i would have the money i would surely book another carrier depending on the destination. To the US maybe because American carriers are not even better but to South East Asia always SIA or EVA Air. To China Cathay Pacific.
I flew this product from to JHB last year and back. The First Class Terminal in FRA with the service offered there was superb. The seat and cabin are classy even if they are slightly dated. I enjoyed both legs immensely in the nose. Food ex JHB was strangely a lot better than flying ex FRA. Service was excellent. The only thing that disturbed me was the tiny flat screen and not very interesting screen choices. Considering I spent 22 hours on board, the limited choices were depleted quickly. LH current Business Hard product is a disaster. So if LH then only First . Let’s see what the new product brings

A great flight. I’ve only flown business class on LUfthansa on the A340 and the 777. At the time, business class was in the nose and First Class upstairs.
I didn't know about the arrival lounge. When I arrive in Frankfurt, after an intercontinental flight and before my connection, I always go to the Business lounge, which is quite a schlep. How does the welcome lounge work and how do you get there after you land?
I have a question obviously when the plane takes off it goes up in the sky! Doesn’t the drinks and glasses placed on the tables or in bar falls down? Like how?
Well. It looks nice and with the food too. But I think it is to small to be a first class. I really want a bigger place when I travel in first class. But I hope you could sleep and enjoy your trip over the sea. :)
I noticed the pyjama is L size. I was wondering if when you buy the tickets do you have an option to chose your size ? Or they simply put a random size on the seats ?

Great to see a full first class cabin. Lucky baby who was traveling in First class. Houston airport lacks that premium feel, they're improving it, especially Terminal D which is where the international carriers fly from. Houston is a big premium market for lot of airlines. Glad to see LH uses the polaris lounge, the lounge they used before was ok.
I recently flew LH. By far my worst airline experience. Flight was delayed for 20+ hours without any explanation. Plane was old and entertainment system was not working - on business class… never again. Would fly any other airline instead.
Must say I do fly with Emirates ! Emirates business class looks like Lufthansa first class ? Also in Emirates crew will escort you to your seat ! And the food is spectacular ! Try Emirates first class you feel like Royalty! I don’t think Lufthansa is my choice of flying
This is indeed the flight. But let me tell you, starting off my day in Toronto at 5AM coupled with an entire bottle of champagne consumed by myself, I had no issue falling asleep after the meal service 😂
I suggest not fast-forwarding during takeoff roll. You had already admonished your viewers to skip to 12:00 if uninterested in the footage. Hence, those viewing the takeoff have an interest in the footage.
There are a few comments that you should didn’t do like the different between the business and first(so obvious), also the video during the landing was horrible with the phone… Very nice video but quite things they should be changed.
Great review! To be accurate it is Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport not international. Houston Hobby International is on the southside of the city.
Everybody complains about the "too small" TV screens. I have to let you know, that it has been technically determined that the size TV monitor is chosen by the distance between the seat and the monitor. This size is perfect for the distance. To me the seats are perfect better than the closed cabins. It gets very lonely fast when you sit closed in in a box. What is the matter, don't you like people?
@Dr Weirdgloves well you can say anything to me that you want. Some people have a small living room and large TVs in them, it is proven not to be good. Ask an expert if you are so smart.

I agree, the Boeing 747 is the most beautiful commercial jet flying today. It has a well-earned nicknamed, "The Queen of the Skies". Great video.

As an introvert, I hate that open plan. On the other hand, it did have the fun vibe of a crowded high end restaurant...which was kinda nice.

I use a mix of goPro Hero 10 and my iPhone 14Pro for filming. For the boarding I usually use a clip add-on to fix the goPro to my backpack :)

I didn't know about the arrival lounge. When I arrive in Frankfurt, after an intercontinental flight and before my connection, I always go to the Business lounge, which is quite a schlep. How does the welcome lounge work and how do you get there after you land?

Well. It looks nice and with the food too. But I think it is to small to be a first class. I really want a bigger place when I travel in first class. But I hope you could sleep and enjoy your trip over the sea. :)

Decent First Class Suite. I only didn't like the width of the partition. It should have been lengthier so that the entire suit can be made private.

Great to see a full first class cabin. Lucky baby who was traveling in First class. Houston airport lacks that premium feel, they're improving it, especially Terminal D which is where the international carriers fly from. Houston is a big premium market for lot of airlines. Glad to see LH uses the polaris lounge, the lounge they used before was ok.
Lucky baby indeed haha! I loved the Polaris Lounge, but wish they'd finish the Terminal D make over... its like a warehouse right now...
Not much in the way of privacy compared to other airlines first class.

I recently flew LH. By far my worst airline experience. Flight was delayed for 20+ hours without any explanation. Plane was old and entertainment system was not working - on business class… never again. Would fly any other airline instead.

Must say I do fly with Emirates ! Emirates business class looks like Lufthansa first class ? Also in Emirates crew will escort you to your seat ! And the food is spectacular ! Try Emirates first class you feel like Royalty! I don’t think Lufthansa is my choice of flying

This is indeed the flight. But let me tell you, starting off my day in Toronto at 5AM coupled with an entire bottle of champagne consumed by myself, I had no issue falling asleep after the meal service 😂
The American Express centurion lounge at Kennedy has terrible food. This looks so much nicer
I suggest not fast-forwarding during takeoff roll. You had already admonished your viewers to skip to 12:00 if uninterested in the footage. Hence, those viewing the takeoff have an interest in the footage.

There are a few comments that you should didn’t do like the different between the business and first(so obvious), also the video during the landing was horrible with the phone… Very nice video but quite things they should be changed.

Everybody complains about the "too small" TV screens. I have to let you know, that it has been technically determined that the size TV monitor is chosen by the distance between the seat and the monitor. This size is perfect for the distance. To me the seats are perfect better than the closed cabins. It gets very lonely fast when you sit closed in in a box. What is the matter, don't you like people?
@Dr Weirdgloves well you can say anything to me that you want. Some people have a small living room and large TVs in them, it is proven not to be good. Ask an expert if you are so smart.
Didn't they let you into the First Class Terminal upon arrival in FRA? Or is that only for departures and transit?
I didn't have same-day departure so I couldn't access it :( I did walk by the First Class Lounge where they gave me my duck though :)
