- It has been quite a road for Shower Power, one of Zimbabwe's most resilient, original and versatile male a cappella vocal Gospel groups. Stemming from their name, meaning "Shower the Holy Ghost Power", they believe not only in the transforming power of God's Holy Spirit, but also in the need to spread that power to others through song.Their aim is to prepare the hearts of man to accept Christ,
as well as to enroll candidates for His Kingdom. They are inspired by One of Christ's last instructions to his disciples In Acts Chapter 1 vs 8: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (Zimbabwe), all of Judea and Samaria (the region and indeed Africa), and to the ends of the earth".
