I love love that idea to cut the material instead of using a ruler and cutting it one at a time. Why can't I ever com up with ideas like this, lol I am so glad we have people who do come up with these ideas and share them. lol Another great wreathe and video like always.
I knew about using cardboard to wrap and cut tulle, but I learned about about using a spacer between two pieces. This will make the cutting SO much easier. Genius! TFS
Hi MAY- I'm a former hairdresser also, (lol - we never really retire) and I had to tell you that Your tutorial here was the clearest, most concise one on you tube! Many just talk, and talk, and the parts one needs to know aren't shown. :( You show Exactly how to do this and mine turned out just gorgeous, thanks to you!! Happy holidays! xxx TFS!
Beautiful wreath Maymay, and so easy to do. I will be making one for Christmas. I saw the cutting trick on trendy tree also. LOL.... Thanks for sharing
So pretty. Your mother is going to love using this in her home (girl's room). I appreciate the tip on the "sandwich", make's the cutting so easy. The gloves, ice skates and snowflakes, make this an item that can be left up all "winter" long. Very pretty!
i love it! SO PRETTY! The only thing I would change is I would flip one of the mittens so the thumbs are both towards the ring of tulle - will look like a left and right mitten then! Im sure it will be beautiful in the girls room at your moms! Ill be looking for it!
+Linda Guillemette I thought about it but I didn't want the mitten to be upside down. Isn't it funny how we all see stuff so differently! Thanks for watching!
+Maymay Made It Crafts Amy Helms hi maymay! it wouldn't be upside down - just turn it over so the thumb points to the outside (the one on the right as you look at it). In otherwords, make what you have as the back of the mitten the front and the thumbs would look similar to what the skates do. You explain things so well, and I have a horrible time explaining myself....hope that made more sense now. Thanks!
love this idea ! I'm doing a sweet 16 for my daughter and think I will use the basic idea to make a party wreath...mmmm better get to work! Thanks for sharing this!
+Vivienne Parfitt I would love to see your project when you finish, maybe you could post it on our facebook group facebook.com/groups/MaymayMadeItandSoDidI/
thanks for sharing this video, beautiful wreath. can you tell me how big to make the spacer to put in the middle of the other two pieces? and what did you use to make to the piece to wrap the tulle around?
Thank you so much for your video!!! I watched other videos and I could not figure out out to get the tulle on there and almost threw my wreath because I was so frustrated. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Love this! I'm new to crafting and before I invest in deco mesh (for making wreaths) I have lots of tulle on hand so all I need is the wreath form and pipe cleaners ('old school' for chenille stems) and I'm set to give this a try. Off to the craft store. :-)
First time seeing your video.....loved it! Going to make me one also.....I have tulle! Thanks for sharing and I subscribed! So glad to have found this video.
Maymay, This is so cute! I love the skates and snowman I love the way this turned out. Brilliant idea about the sandwich! I would of cut each piece by itself. LOL Quick question, where do you get that glue from? Hugs, Stacy
Your instructions are fabulous!! Thank You! I love your southern accent! ❤️❤️❤️

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS WREATH...GOING TO DO ONE IN TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLORS....RED AND GREEN! :) :)
too cute love it :-} TFS
When I make mine I do the slip knot so that it's on top, I just like the way it looks.
Idea how to cut tulle
Thanks so much for the idea on cutting tulle, it was ver y easy to do and I love it. Again thanks
it's beautiful :)
@Maymay Made It Crafts where did u get the lil mittens/skates!!?
@Amanda Stiltner The ornaments were from Hobby Lobby.
Do you spray your wreaths too make it stiff or do you just leave it?
Hi, we do not spray the tulle wreaths, thanks
I love this! it looks to be more of a Winter Wreath to me, not Xmas. The colors are cool and soft, if that makes sense . LOL.
@Esperanza62 Definitely a non-traditional Christmas colors Christmas wreath.
How beautiful...Mom of 5
Oh, my gosh...wouldn't that be fabulous as an Easter wreath, too?
Have to try this, but doing for domestic violence awareness
This is called a larks head knot.
Si parará de hablar y se dedicará más a explicar el vídeo estuviera genial así esta aburrido
@Maymay Made It Crafts where did u get the lil mittens/skates!!?
