Do you think a few hundred pounds at this stage is worth it when making the biggest purchase of most peoples lives? Let me know your thoughts and experiences with Surveys
Hello , Great content and very useful. We are planning to buy a house in Rugby which was built in 2021(nhbc warranty remaining) by linden homes. Wanted to understand if a level 2 or level 3 for such a property . Any suggestions would be appreciated . Thanks !
How does this situation work out. Say i buy a house for 100k, 25K deposit.75%ltv, i refurb costing me 15k with the new value of the house 135k. How would i go about taking my initial deposit out by getting a 75%LTV on my new property valuation. How much would i get out and would i still be paying the same amount of mortgage. Thank You
I had a question if youve gone ahead and got a basic mortgage survey and your reports come back but the sale hasnt been completed yet. Is it possible to get a home buyers report and would your bank do this or would you have to get this done independently? Thanks
Yes it’s possible, if basic one has happened it’s probably too late to do it through the bank. So have to instruct your own locally but this is a better option anyway as you have direct access to the surveyor for help and advice
@@thebeardedguy9809 the mortgage survey once instructed takes about a week or so, lender arranges this. If you want your own survey done you have to arrange this with a local surveyor
I always like referring back to the Channel , straight forward advice followed by a no nonsense personal opinion which is great and keeps me looking for new content on this channel

truly informative, thanks loads for the video! keep going x
Hi mate, would a full structural survey help in determining which walls are load bearing etc. To make it easier for planning renovations?
I believe it would and you could certainly ask the surveyor those questions also
Michael, would you advise a full structural survey for a new build property?
Not necessary on a brand new property but should get it professionally snagged out
