Ziggerton BW2 was probably my best Pokemon experience yet. Sun and Moon just feels like its missing something. Not gyms, but it just is really boring after beating the main game.

Gen 5 (BW): The first landmark in how many generations have been released, considered by many to have a fantastic story. Gen 6 (XY): The first entirely 3D Pokemon game to appear on the 3DS. Gen 7 (SM): Pokemon's 20th Anniversary special, taking a different turn to other games in the series. So this makes me wonder, what will Gen 8 bring to the table?

I think the Black 2 and White 2 theme (11:55) sounds quite ominous and intimidating and not like a traditional pokemon intro theme. Though I still like it... I like all the intro themes for the most part. Though ORAS would be my least favorite. I just prefer the older version. My favorite would probably be either Sun and Moon or X and Y because of how cheerful they sound.
just hearing the gen 4 intros gets me hyped because we all know they are coming as remakes soon. platinum was my first and by far my favourite game yet and seeing it 3d may annoy my nostalgia a bit but in the end it will definetely be worth it

My favorite thing about the main title theme is that the melody, the core melody, takes on a completely different form eaxh time. RBY sets a simplistic precedent and really sets the tone for the journey, GSC is quirky but has a chill vibe, RSE's gor in-your-face but energetic and powerful brass that gets you ready for an adventure, DPPt has its general eeriness (especially with Platinum), gen 5 as a whole just being a rebirth and giving a whole new sound to the theme, gen 6 bringin' in that orchestration and class, and then finally gen 7, which is pretty much a culmination of the last 20 years of games, implementing several of the individual themes in the music of earlier games. I'm hoping this next gen will come up with an equally as awesome rendition. (Also gen 3's is the best and you can't change my mind).
Crazy how the people that played the first three generations are adults now and maybe be even have a family and I started with pearl. I'm now 18, turning 19 in a few months^^. Crazy how time flies.

I just wanted to say, so that everyone’s knowledge is complete, this video is separated into *regions* not generations, generations traditionally start with a new mainstream game, and will have a remix of some sort, for example, FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby and Sapphire are one *generation* , while R/S and ORAS are in the same region - just so we’re all clear :)
It kind of blows my mind that Pokémon Sun/Moon is the first experience some kids are having with Pokémon. The franchise has come a very long way. Having a fully 3D Pokémon game is something we talked about on the playground but never really expected to see it happen, but here it is.
All the theme's are only masterpieces. There's nothing better than hearing Pokemon songs from all the games all day long. I practice my karate while hearing these songs it's truly great.

For me, gen 3’s intro - or specifically, ORAS - is the best intro song. Unlike basically every other region, gen 3 isn’t an infinite loop and actually has a proper climax, which is so fucking intense... I just love it so much.
I don't know about you guys, but Black & White's version and more so the B&W2 version just feel so proper. Not only does it sounds like videogame music, but it also has the feel of an actual classical masterpiece.

Gen 4 will always be my favorite. I grew up on gen 3, and when I moved to gen 4, I was happier than can be. The music, the gameplay, the Pokémon, it was amazing.

I just wanted to say, so that everyone’s knowledge is complete, this video is separated into *regions* not generations, generations traditionally start with a new mainstream game, and will have a remix of some sort, for example, FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby and Sapphire are one *generation* , while R/S and ORAS are in the same region - just so we’re all clear :)

It kind of blows my mind that Pokémon Sun/Moon is the first experience some kids are having with Pokémon. The franchise has come a very long way. Having a fully 3D Pokémon game is something we talked about on the playground but never really expected to see it happen, but here it is.
All the theme's are only masterpieces. There's nothing better than hearing Pokemon songs from all the games all day long. I practice my karate while hearing these songs it's truly great.

Gen 5 for life!!!
For me, gen 3’s intro - or specifically, ORAS - is the best intro song. Unlike basically every other region, gen 3 isn’t an infinite loop and actually has a proper climax, which is so fucking intense... I just love it so much.
I don't know about you guys, but Black & White's version and more so the B&W2 version just feel so proper. Not only does it sounds like videogame music, but it also has the feel of an actual classical masterpiece.
Man, Pokemon Y was the very first Pokémon game I actually completed, feels good hearing that main theme again.
I teared up so nostalgic....

Gen 4 will always be my favorite. I grew up on gen 3, and when I moved to gen 4, I was happier than can be. The music, the gameplay, the Pokémon, it was amazing.

Fun Fact: the remakes are part of the Gen they were released in, making FireRed and LeafGreen Gen 3. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire would be Gen 6. You guys can guess where I'm going with this now.
