As a man, I can understand why your dad has done what he has to basically completely remodel your childhood home from what it used to be. It’s (in my view) been his way of coping with the loss of your mom and it’s helped to keep him busy in his retirement years. He seems to be in great spirits and that is a wonderful sight to see for someone his age.
Met your mom and pops at the range when I first moved here to the Springs in 2011. Good people. Hope to see you, your sis and pops when I take my 2 daughters to the range soon because you guys remind me of us.

I get it in some ways with your dad, losing your spouse early in order to fill up your day you start some crazy hobbies or they just take over you. That first year after my wife passed I built so many different AR's just to keep my mind off of the grief. Too bad the TV show ever did happen it would have been epic indeed.

Besides the museum, harley repair, gun shop, gun range, real hot rods, model hot rods collecting everything from vintage gas pumps to 50's malt shop furniture and so much more. Anyway, see what a man can do when he puts his mind to it. The whole compound is beyond just super impressive.
