Another amazing video! Which one is your favourite? I love the two Montblanc the L’Aubrac and the James Purdey are great with wonderful nibs and the GvFC Magnum is a more available piece that is on my list to get since the other two are out of reach.
Something about that Le Viny is so cool. I so far have 2 of my favorite wood pens - MB Around the World in 80 Days Year 2 Solitaire Le Grand and GvFC PoTY 2008. But that Le Viny and Purdy call to me.
I love the Caran d'Ache, which is interesting for a couple reasons. A wood pen doesn't sound like a good idea to me, yet I want it. I am generally turned off by "themed" pens, which sound like a gimmick to me, but this is the rare one that somehow appeals to me, despite being only a moderate wine drinker. And any sort of branding is not my favorite, but that little flag is wonderful. I am won over by its precise and elegant design. Thanks for the show.
Hi Samuel, I'm taking a trip to Europe soon, and I was wondering what pen you'd recommend within a $600 budget? For reference I already have a MB 146 and a Sailor 1911L. Thanks!
These all feature wood, but don't show it off. That's not a criticism it's that I've seen wooden pens that really stand out and the look is very different from this assortment. Have a look at the offerings from Ryan Krusac, especially the Honduran Rosewood.
the Leman aren't bad. I have very large hands, so I normally only buy very large pens, but for casual shirts something like the Leman strikes a good balance of working with my hand while still fitting in the shirt pocket.
Which one is your favorite piece of this selection?
1. Montblanc L'Aubrac
2. GvFC Magnum Caucasian Wood
GvFC, allways, but the James Purdey & Sons 2018/2019 is absolutely a mindblowing piece of art

A GvFC Guilloche or Classic, a Scribo Feel, Otto Hutt design07 are a few options

Thanks for sharing your opinion.
It's a pity that Caran d'Ache fountain pens have such slim grip sections.
Yup, we’re waiting for an oversize pen from them
