Gutters are one of the best investments you can make to a house. And we love our black stone grill. I have noticed the more you cook on it the cleaner it stays and easier to maintain.

Definitely save the soil from washing away under the underpinning and the black looks good as a "trim look" to it.

There is such a thing as "Mulch Glue" which will keep the mulch from washing away or blow away. Works for any type of mulch and stones.

It is possible! I just worked on one that was done this way using steel I-beams
