I like the fact that when you install the new expansion the new crops carry over to other maps, soo will Scroft and George have new crops in the near future too? May fit in well with George's yard selling stand.

Scroft the biogas heating plant isnt the same as the biogas plant its just a sell point for like straw and silage and stuff and the debery crusher isnt a lime producton its just a sell points for stones!! and the piano production just neds planks and there wont spawn any pallets from the piano production!!
Crop destruction only is active during growth stages. When it's harvest ready crop destruction is being turned off automatically for the crop that is ready for harvest.
Scrodt all the harvester will harvest all the new root crops in the premium dlc!!

Scroft you ned to lower down the harvester that neds pallets to attache be able to attach them to the harvetser!
Scroft almost evry new harvester dont have a capacity its like a forage harvester so you ned to cart beside them all the time and if you dont yoy gona lose the crop that goes for all the crops! but thered only one with a capacity and thats a traled one you pull it behing a tractor and it dont have a trailer hitch i dont think and then there 2 that neds crates ans you can purchase crates in the store and also you can buy them from the harvester too like if you have a harvester that neds pallets to a tractor you can buy pallets from the like controls to control the harvester and they will store all the new root crops in the premium dlc!! and the rest you ned to cart beside!!
the whole point of the maps having small farmyards is so the player can make them however they want. i started a game on farm manager and mage a real tight small yard with the new premium buildings just outside the town on the map

Think with the harvesters you can set courseplay on spiral with no headland, then follow with the trailer
It's funny...most DLCs I am a bit dubious at first then they grow on you as you start using the stuff. This one was opposite. I was really stoked to start playing on this map with these new crops and equipment. But very fast I am starting to see the flaws. I said the same exact thing about those silos on small farms. No way could those farmers afford that, and they are on all three farms. With the exception of the houses all three farms are identical. I took up residence on the south farm myself. The map...You know, I like it...but it could be much better. I mean, it is Poland, but the whole interior of the map is so stark and bare...almost sterile (sealyp said that, it is perfect). I dont know, after a few hours on all this I am just left with the feeling that Giants got lazy with this one. I dont regret buying it...but it could be so much better...
You can just delete the silo. I don't see the problem myself really, but then again I rarely play on the default maps.
@@rmvdhaak Well sure, you can take out the silos. You can expand the farm yards and add any mod buildings you like. You can't buy the property the sell point dairy and spinnery are on but you can certainly put down true productions elsewhere on the map. You can even complete the numerous production chains Giants have left open on this map. The train really isnt a problem either, you can just slow it down a bit as it goes through the edge of the map so you dont throw the load. Even the lack of a decent root crop harvester is easily overcome, you can do a Driver 53 and stick one of those 2 million liter auto loading bags on top of the self propelled harvester or you can just wait for some decent mods to come out. So yeah, despite the map being locked because it is a DLC you can still do much here. But that really wasn't the point, was it? I wrote a critique of this DLC as it was presented from Giants. It was my impression of the map as they released it. A map which I am still happily playing, BTW...as I said, it isn't a bad map. I just feel it could have been better.

Preserving food is often considered the more profitable choice, as it minimizes crop loss during the transformation into products.
It's a good production to add in. It's more suited to farming than the Piano 😅

I think the farmyards are done the way they are so as not to limit you to what there is, you can basically set them up in the way you want. I have and am having problems with the carrot planter, I connected it to the row making machine(had to lease it) but I cannot select what I want to plant, there is no icon for seed selection, Carrot/parsnip/beets maybe I'm doing it wrong. I also tried the planter by itself and does not work either.
I also had the same problem as you with animation stopping, speedometer freezing, icons disappearing and eventually the game locked up and I had to come out of the game using shift F4. I also had previously updated the game to the latest v1.13 . Good you found it was a mod conflict, now which one? You could just try the inbuilt worker using H once lined up and you drive the trailer.
I'm pretty sure it was additional game settings or Stock checker that caused the conflict

I have been running VCA on here all the time. Also have had trouble with Additional Game Settings conflicting with anything and everything at the drop of a hat, so much so I quit trying to use it.
Hello scroft, I have to say that I'm not a fan of giant maps. In my opinion, they have never been good, and each new one that comes out is just as bad. I avoid buying games new because I know the maps will not be up to standard. However, I have found that the other mods are good, despite some hiccups. I have noticed that the vehicle control add-on is often the culprit for any issues. It seems that whoever wrote the mod intended it to work only with their own mod and no one else's. I have experienced many problems with this mod interfering with other mods, to the point where I don't use it anymore. It's a shame because the GPS on it is very useful, but it's just not worth the hassle. I wish the mod maker would ensure that it's compatible with other mods and remove the super strength feature. Additionally, I have noticed that it interferes with the additional game settings mod.
I'm sure it was the Stock checker mod i use. Or it was additional game settings. Thanks for watching

I also find the farms a bit spartan. Giants really seem to be incapable of designing nice farmlands. Or choose not to design them, for whatever reason. Map looks nice in general though. A typical Giants map. Decent enough but not really memorable or great. The Platinum Expansion map was there best work.
I know it may be realistic to not have any capacity in the new harvesters, but it is a bit stupid if you ask me. Console users are basically never going to get to use the big harvester because they will just be stuck carting. I'll either be looking for a mod to come out, or modding one of the existing multifruit beet harvesters to do these crops. Really do not get this decision from Giants. Why not just give them some capacity before unloading?
It is always good to have new crops, and also great they have been added to the default crops so they can be used on mod maps. I worried they would be like the new trees on Silerrun.
Yeah, the harvesters need to support more players. It's something I'm sure modders will sort it out soon. I guess the harvesters for potatoes and beets will support the new crops
