Well if Slipknot refuse to be Iowa era Slipknot then somebody else SHOULD 😂
I think people either love that they sound so much like Slipknot, or they don't. I personally love it. Corey has said that he can only really see himself having the energy to carry on with Slipknot for a good 5 more years, so I won't really complain if they keep leaning in the 90's/early 2000's Slipknot direction.
Close your eyes and it's Slipknot. The good times Slipknot. And I'm not complaining)

I wouldn’t call it Iowa slipknot, BUT it’s heavy and it’s good! Iowa will forever be my favorite album ever.

@@Roguenjosh correct. I think iowa is pretty much every real slipknot fans favorite album. Corey went so hard.

They really lack identity. You said the chorus is "uniquely Vended" but I'd even disagree with that. The verses are just Slipknot but the chorus is Stone Sour. Corey's other band. I really hope they eventually try different sounds and break away from the spitting image of slipknot they've got.
Who cares? If it sounds good then what does it matter if it sounds heavily influenced by slipknot?

The cleans aren't anywhere near as good as Corey and that's not a slight on griffon. Because i think he's got the better growls.
