nice surge on the map on Lyft. 99% of the time its DEAD as F in Portland. We will be heading to Vegas at the end of Sep. Can't wait. I'm the "accept all" driver lmao, and very often end up making 30+ hour (uber) and tips be coming in throughout the week for the previous week rides.
All those traffic lights give me anxiety.. I live in Spain, roundabouts are everywhere, basically every intersection is a roundabout and 90% of the time, I dont need to stop, ever, just roll through and take my exit... I rarely ever see traffic light intersections They are so dangerous and inefficient
Min 10:24... it looks like its pretty easy to determine the area with extra bonuses for your next trip.... why wouldn't you just choose the rides who end up in a bonus area? Instead of taking trips all the way to empty areas? Without bonuses areas?
I have a 2017. I normally average about 50 mpg. If it’s really hot out and running the a/c more like 47 mpg. I found that most passengers are surprised at how much room it has. I haven’t had any issues with its level. I think it’s pretty standard compared to most cars.

I was on some trial of gold and it at least showed the direction they were going and estimated time. I got a message saying that ended and now I see nothing it distance to pickup. Is it different in different markets or is there something I’m missing? My Lyft app looks yours and shows pickup, drop off, and earning. Guess I will stick with Lyft.

Ubering in Vegas sucks, there are way too many Ubers. Too much traffic, construction drunks in middle of the road, crime etc. don’t do it if you want to keep your sanity. Put 200 miles a day for 129$. 😂😂😂 this shit is ridiculous not to mention Uber takes up to 60%.

Some silly excuse about not giving surges in vegas due tstate of emergency which isn't the case uber lying they charged customers uber surge prices and didn't give us a penny of that surge

Uber has been crap this past week. They cut out surges completely. U saw how many request and ppl waiting for ubers? And his offers were mostly less than $10
I have turned off Uber completely until they bring surge back. Just using Lyft for now. I tried calling Uber customer service to find out why no surges and talked to 13 people (really!) before I was told there was an issue with the app. TERRIBLE customer service, all overseas. Does anyone have advice for actually getting help from U Et when it’s needed?
I can’t stand the small talk on Uber trips. Just shut up and let me listen to my podcast on my AirPods as I take you to your destination. I’m not interested in stupid meaningless conversations. I’m not here for entertainment or therapy this is strictly business. To take you from point A to B. Yes I’m pleasant when you come in. For Mr. Or Mrs so and so, and how are you ? Good. The hats where it ends for me. When they leave have a nice day thank you. That’s it. Quiet is not awkward. It just means you have an inability to quiet your mind and thoughts down. I can be one a 2 hr ride with a pass anger not say a word and not feel awkward for a second. I’m not focus on what they are thinking or doing, I’m focused on what I’m doing and I’m interested in which is listening to a podcast.
You should check out UberJeepAZ’s channel. He’s a driver in Arizona and his style of driving is very insightful if that makes sense. He makes long form podcast type videos and they’re a good listen for while your driving.

not all markets show the data. in portland, just shows us the pickup location/distance, NEVER the destination. Driving blind...so sick of it

25-30/hour is the average before expenses, at least in my experience. so yes about 4 hours. sometimes you make less....sometimes more
